Cortana, You are so awesome,,,,

Postby babaraimc » 23 Nov 2015, 07:09

I heard about Cortana when window 10 wasn't launched, and I was very curious to meet Cortana and when started using, She didn't disappoint me.. She can answer almost every question, and in response to some question she actually said "If i had all the answer , then it would have been a very long document" i am just loving her, and when i said this to her she replied "there is definitely a spark between us" is there any other Fan of Cortana???

I honestly think Cortana is the best virtual assistant. I use to have a Lumia 520 and Cortana would answer every question I ask with a witty response. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the Windows App Store lacked a lot of apps, I moved to Android and using Google Now isn't as fun as using Cortana. I actually miss Cortana for the Windows Phone, but at least she's on Windows 10 for the PC. :)

Edit: To add, Cortana does a lot of things, like setting a reminder, telling jokes, setting a timer, searching on Bing and she can be set to read texts out loud as they come.

I have never used Cortana. My smartphone is Android and my version of Windows 10 does not support it (language restrictions) but I'm very curious about it.

There is no doubt that technology has been evolving in a fast pace. And all this Cortana thing reminds me of the movie "Her".

I don't use windows 10 and I never used Cortana. I don't like virtual assistants because I am the type of person who likes to find the solutions by my own. Maybe I am loosing all the fun but honestly applications and SO are design to make things so simple that with time people will loose the ability to think and solve problems by themselves.

I can understand why you say this. I mainly used Cortana to make reminders, calls or play my music when I'm driving. I also like to ask her fun questions from time to time.

I have Windows 10 on one of my laptops, but I turned Cortana off. I find virtual assistants very annoying. I can find what I want when I want, and I don't need reminders or notifications. It's bad enough I get too many notifications on my phone.

Never heard of it until now and I might be a little behind the times since I don't even own a smartphone. Is the program voiced by the same actress who plays Cortana in the Halo series?
