I thought that at first too, but I was not checking and refreshing the page frequently enough. But if you do that, your money will build up pretty nicely.

Why do you say they are a waste of time? I keep hearing conflicting things about them, and I'd like to know why you say this.

Don't worry, it's just me. I really don't like surveys anyway, but when I can spend over an hour there and end if with a nickle or two, I have better things to do with my time. I would much rather build my reputation on other communities where I can have a link or two that pay me $1 when someone takes action on them.

This is a good point though. Like if I had my blog taking off better or a website or something like that I would want to build my reputation online. I would say I have some rep online but not as much as you by any means. A work in progress as I always like to think.

True enough I can do it while doing other sites as well by just going back and easily refreshing the page. A couple days ago I earned close to $2.00 it was my best day yet on UsabilityHub.

I haven't got any jobs like that till now. On average I am earning $.50 now by spending less than 5 minutes or so. I saw only three types of jobs there

- compare two designs
-observe a design and answer some questions
- Take action by clicking the appropriate point in the picture

I have not. But I did read on Reddit they are taking longer with payments this month. I trust I will be paid by them it could just take a while. I just have my fingers crossed waiting. :)
Workathomegirl, when you get paid by usabilityhub please let us know. That site mentioned they would pay people for taking tests through links that were posted on Redditt so I am sure they are trying to raise the funds to make those payments. It is a good gesture on their part. If you hear of anyone on Redditt getting paid let us know that too. I am sure the site is legit but it will be more reassuring to all of us if you actually get your payment. Thanks.

You are not registered as a tester. Message them to change your account as tester. That's what I did.

Oh yes I will be posting payment proof once it happens. I suspect with the loophole that happened it could be a long while. I am not upset over it, I think its kind of them to still pay the ones (me) who used that loophole. To be honest though I didn't realize it was something I shouldn't of been doing, I did stop though eventually and decided not to do it anymore because it felt wrong.

@grecy0905 - Sounds like you may of made an account for making test in error. If you email support they should be able to switch your account to a tester one.

@oldbuddy - This is where you can read the update: https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/comm ... bilityhub/

I almost feel like going back and using the loophole, because I could do with the money. But I won't as I now know that they had issues due to people using it. They seem like a very reputable company.

Yes it is just as tempting now as it was then but I chose not to follow the crowd and do it. I chose to follow the spirit of the site and abide by what should normally take place. Since the site did not earn money from those tests they will have to raise the money from somewhere.
@workathomegirl--could it all have been part of a script? I mean it all just seems to easy for them to be so eager and willing to try to pay people for work that they will not receive payment for from their clients. Most sites would flat out not honor those payments. The whole debacle gives them time (and a legitimate- sounding excuse) to delay paying people. I still think that the site is legit but I am wondering....

I am moving to slow in Usable as most time I visit I see no available tests for me. I think people from only some countries are doing good there.

As far as I know that loophole was patched it was something they were unaware of until they noticed it.

Yeah I think they are legit just taking longer to pay because of what happened. I will be happy once I am paid and can share the proof with everyone.

Yeah at this point I have heard more then one person say that so I am thinking you are right. My earnings are not huge but on average 40 to 80 cents a day I guess, sometimes over a dollar.

Ok thanks for letting me know it was patched. I would not have done it anyway, because now I know what sort of trouble it was causing for the company. I am up to five dollars with them so far.

The best time to work there here in Philippines was night time and early morning. I am getting a lot of offers during those times.
