* * @bestwriter - Quick question to you, since you seem to have the most experience on Postloop.

Does the member have to sign in to Postloop and then the Postloop Portal? Or do you just sign in to the Portal?

Please don't go "Duh!" Maybe for you it's not rocket science. But for me it is!. :D

I think I have a mental block because the first time I tried this site, I went around in circles chasing my own tail and I don't want to do that again. Please be patient with me.

What I did was, I registered at Postloop first, then I register at Postloop Portal. I made 10 posts, 6 comments and 4 created new topics. My comments are 100 words and above.

After 24 hours, I was approved with rate: 4
Very happy with the results!

I am very grateful towards @kaka135 for her advice. She had helped me a lot.

Once you've been approved, you don't need the Portal. You need to go to the "Forums" tab. You'll go to each site you want to join, register, then come back and subscribe to them via Post Loop's forum page (you will see a little icon off to the right). Once you do that, you'll see them listed on your "Subscription" tab, and you can start posting on them.

* * Thank you @thisnthat - I just joined the SuperiorThan forum. Seemed like the only one I could participate in. I did 10 comments and received an eMail that told me to STOP! My posting limit had been met. I'll see where this takes me. Maybe I'll subscribe to another forum.

@thisnthat came to your rescue I see. You are now raring to go. I too am on superiorothan. If you post topics there you will get 5 times the points but they take 24 hours to approve. You can try with one.

@cmoneyspinner, yes, you will get an alert when you have "met or exceeded" your limit. In most cases, you can still post if you feel like it, you just won't get paid for any more posts. You should see a daily limit next to each one that tells you how many posts you are allowed to earn points for per day.

Also note, most owners like your contributions to be spread out a bit, not just bam, five/ten in a row.

Most of my favourites are offline or disabled. How is it with you?

Lately many forums either are offline, disabled or have reduced their quota. I am on mysurvival and superiorthan but that will not be enough now to reach this fast. If you have posted a topic on superiorthan they take longer to approve but they do it within 24 hours.

You should not subscribe to forums where you are not comfortable as you may get low ratings if they are not satisfied with your posts.

Thanks. I had subscribed and commented on Superiorthan , 3 different topics- a debate, a discussion and a versus. I input more than 100 words comment but I only got 5 points in that account ( at superiorthan).

However, why my points at Postloop did not increase after 24 hours?
Should my last balance points + 5 points?

Or maybe only one of the topic is given points while the other two do not give points?

Go to postloop portal and write to Beverly. She owns superiorthan. She is very understanding. Tell her your story. This does not look fair to me. Did you get an email approving all your topics?

I was wondering that. If all your topics are approved at the same time you would only be credited for two because those two topics would take up your quota for the day. Two topics are the same as 10 posts. You should still have got more than 5 points though.

It is points and not posts. I am reproducintg what superiorthan says:

: SuperiorThan is a debate community where users compare items and vote on whichever item they prefer. The community also supports debate statements, general discussions/questions and polls.

You earn:
- Five times (5x) the post points for each topic you create
- Points for every vote made with comment/content
- Points for each comment made

Yes I'm aware of that. I usually do one topic and 5 posts which makes 10 points. What I was trying to say is if peachpurple did 3 topics only two of those would be credited because those two topics would make 10 points which would be the equivalent of writing out 10 posts.

I have understood it to be 5 times the post points and not posts. They could have said each topic equals 5 posts adding that you can only post 2 topics and more than that will not be counted or some such thing.

I did 3 topics but the points given were 3 points not 10 points. How did you get 10 points?

I can only subscribe and leave comments. Where can i create new topics?

So you haven't created any new topics? You click on 'Create' at the top of the page and it will give you options on the type of topics you can create.

I get what you mean now. A topic is a completely new thread that you create for people to comment on. If you have previously commented on topics that other people created then your points are correct. We get one point per comment and 5 for creating a new topic. If you've made 3 comments then you would get 3 points.

I have created topics but did not see those 5 points. Just yesterday I kept a vigil and only 2 points were added after i got that email approving my topic. I have brought this to their notice but no reply. My opening was 101 and it ended with 117. I have just done Superiorthan and no other. I totally did 10 posts that included the topic. They sometimes give more than a point per post and that is totally at their discretion.

Value of a post is calculated based on your 7 day average which mine at this moment is 1.6 compared to 1.47 which is the average for all postloop users.

Go to my dashboard (of postloop.com ) and check how many points you have earned. Once you reach 100 you can redeem. all forum points are accumulated there.

* * Oh! That makes it easy. Now I get it! Duh! :?
I've just never been at a site that works this way. It makes sense though. To have everything all in one spot.

As of today I have about 25 points. Which makes mathematical sense because I have 21 posts and I think it's 1 point per post. Not sure where the extra 4 points came from but I'll take them.

Although they say there is a secret algorithm yesterday was the first day I got it as per my calculation which is 5 points for topic and others at my average rate which is mentioned in the dashboard.
