Oh I thought the payment will reach you 2 days, I read it somewhere. But it seems they gone too long now, or correct me. I have 700 points there and I know I will able to meet 1000 points after 6 days if I will start posting now. Do i need to continue or not? I am discourage by your no payment issue.

I have got paid 5 times, and every time it's within 2 days, and there was once within just a few hours. I am not sure if it's because of the weekend, but it's already Tuesday there, and still no news for the payment yet.

I am not sure if you should continue, I'll update you once I got the payment.

By the way, today is Double Point Tuesday, I think I'll still earn some double points there. Since I still can login to the site, I assume it's fine.

I've been with ChatAbout for a while now, and have received numerous payments. However, the last cash out I recently requested took longer than I expected and for a minute there, had me worried LOL By the 4th day, I decided to email to chase my payment, which did finally come through. That took about a week I have to say, I did wonder if I was going to experience what so many others have on ChatAbout LOL.

@nela13.....I'm really sorry to hear you're still not able to log in! Once when I couldn't log in for some reason, I decided to try going via Facebook and it worked! I've since never had any issues logging in directly. Seeing as you have nothing to lose, maybe you could try? Good luck

I keep forgetting about Double Points in Chatabout on Tuesdays. That is until I see it here in this thread. I just seem to run out of time with all my other sites. I should at least do it on Tuesdays, so I can cash out some time soon.

Were you trying to log in through Facebook? I've heard that sometimes there are issues in doing so. If so, maybe try to log in directly. Good luck.

I have never tried to log in through Facebook, I always do it directly, but since I requested my first payment I wasn't able to login again and I always get tha same message. I try to contact them but I haven't an answer yet...

Maybe your account has been banned. It happened same to me long ago, and although I sent them emails asking what's happening with my account, I have never got an answer. It was just when I asked my second payment from ChatAbout.

@angie10 I am thinking perhaps the admin was busy with something else or away, hence we got our payment late. This was also the first time I received my payment so late. Glad that we are still able to receive it.

I finally was able to take advantage of the Double points on Tuesday. I got an email to remind me. I did not realize at first that you have to find the category that pays you double though. So when I first started posting comments, I was only getting 1 point. Well I found the double points in News Discussion and have been racking up the points. I have made almost a hundred points so far. This makes it much easier to get to the 1000 points. I now only need a little over 200 before I cash out.

I have read both positive and negative reviews about chat-about,still I joined there yesterday and I liked to chat with others while earning.There are lots of subjects to talk about hope I can earn something there.

Yes, I read both positive and negative comments about the site too. I just try to enjoy myself there, and hopefully I will get paid always. If not, then I will just forget about it.

It is my case, since I requested my payment, the first one , I am unable to login the site. It is really sad for me because I really liked the site, despite being a slow earner. I can make my registration through another email, but I don't want put effort in a site that doesn't pay me.

That is terrible if they are banning people simply because they have cashed out. I could understand if they did something wrong that would warrant being banished, but just for cashing out. I hope I will get my payment when I reach the 1000 points. I wish it was a bigger reward instead of only $5 for those 1000 points. But I guess it is money that I can add to my total at the end of the month.

The other day, they went right down the line of topics .. I got an alert that there had been 83 new comments while I was away from the computer for a little bit, and it looked like every single one was from that person. I don't think that's going to end well...

This reminds me when I first joined the site and it was back then 500 to cash out not 1,000 points. I came back the next day and had 30 notifications or whatever mostly from the same person. I don't recall if they got banned. I thought they got more mad when people would respond in a thread multiple times to other peoples responses, like I mean go under each persons name and respond. I think I did that a few times then stopped and just made a long response to avoid getting banned. I don't even login really though anymore. I should really get back over there its just really hard with some slow earners to keep going.

@morgoodie Yes, that's really terrible, and I also heard that they did not get reply even they sent emails to the admin. I think admin should at least reply the emails or the questions asked on the site, though I understand they are busy. That's why I think Fergal is really a good admin, as he is very responsive.

@philo Me too. I just continue to participate and enjoy myself on the site, but also be prepared that anytime I might be banned too.

@thisnthat I am not sure about that. I have read that some got paid twice a week ($5 each). I guess it depends whether you get a lot of offers to do, then you can reach the payout very soon. I used to plan to cash out $5 every week, but I was too lazy to do that especially when I am not motivated or running out of topics to write.

Chatabout would not tell you what is the reason for being banned they would not even reply to your mail. The sad part they waited for me to accumulate my points and request for my 4th cash out before banning me. That was not fair. I know I was following all rules, I must admit that after they stopped the personal journals I kind of slowed down and only visit on double points Tuesday. I even brought them 16 referrals.

That's true also. They don't want you to respond to every entry. I avoid doing that as well.

I still think that seeing 83 topic replies by the same person is probably frowned on. I don't think they want people just commenting on everything and anything as fast as they can. I think they expect people to actually contribute to the conversation.

What do you mean by personal journals? There was a personal journal section before? That sounds good.
It's really hard to know why someone was banned by the site. Even though by slowing down on the site, you shouldn't be banned too.

I tried to do the Double Points on Tuesday but the captcha kept screwing up on me. I kept having to refresh it and it was being slow. I figured it wasn't worth getting frustrated for so I quit working on it. I still need over 100 to cash out and am not sure when I will get that. I guess I will try next Tuesday.
