* * Oh! That makes it easy. Now I get it! Duh!![]()

I've just never been at a site that works this way. It makes sense though. To have everything all in one spot.
As of today I have about 25 points. Which makes mathematical sense because I have 21 posts and I think it's 1 point per post. Not sure where the extra 4 points came from but I'll take them.
cmoneyspinner wrote:* * Uummm ... I'm not complaining because there is an income potential. But I have to say my first impression of Postloop still stands. It's kind of "loopy". But I can work with it.

Value of a post is calculated based on your 7 day average which mine at this moment is 1.6 compared to 1.47 which is the average for all postloop users.
sprite1950 wrote:peachpurple wrote:sprite1950 wrote:Yes I'm aware of that. I usually do one topic and 5 posts which makes 10 points. What I was trying to say is if peachpurple did 3 topics only two of those would be credited because those two topics would make 10 points which would be the equivalent of writing out 10 posts.
I did 3 topics but the points given were 3 points not 10 points. How did you get 10 points?
I can only subscribe and leave comments. Where can i create new topics?
So you haven't created any new topics? You click on 'Create' at the top of the page and it will give you options on the type of topics you can create.
I get what you mean now. A topic is a completely new thread that you create for people to comment on. If you have previously commented on topics that other people created then your points are correct. We get one point per comment and 5 for creating a new topic. If you've made 3 comments then you would get 3 points.
Thanks very much, I understand now. No wonder my points are always so low

Your rating will also affect your points and I don't know what that is but if you do well you may get a better one and then you will earn more.

I made hay while it was shining. I had so many interesting forums. But even now if one has a good rating it is easy to earn even with one forum but it will take a bit longer.

Yep, forums come and go. It can be feast or famine on any site like this.
I try to check the forum lists regularly. I'd also recommend checking the rules for each site frequently, since some seem to change.

You're talking about at the SuperiorThan forum. Right? I've never tried to create a topic there. The topics created are already very interesting.
I did create a topic for ForumPromotion. I was just testing the waters. It was about old movies I like.
skysnap wrote:How much time it usually takes to get paid from postloop these days? I thought they used to pay in 1 day. Now I don't think that's possible.
