This has been a longstanding peeve. I have brought this to the notice of Amin but I have not been able to redress the issue May I request those who want to contact me could you kindly send me your email ID in my message box and then I can talk to you. I cannot respond to messages received.

A better solution would be to cure whatever is causing you not to be able to send messages. Can you share some of the actual reasons you can't send messages? Do you get errors that could offer some clues? I don't want my email addreses scattered all over the Internet falling into the hands of spammers, so I don't hand them out until I get to know the other person through posts and messages.

I tried to send you a message and I get what you see in the attachment. First it comes as a preview and then this I have had this problem for a long time. With Admin (Fergal) I use their Email.

You are right Anyone could misuse your email. But I have never indulged in such practices.

The message you posted as an attachment says it was sent to Fergal, not me.
I don't see any error messages, so how do you know it was not sent?

I did not put Fergal's name. It appeared that way when I posted the preview that came up after filling in your name once again. Anyway I have struggled with this for years and have given up.

I never experienced this so not sure whats making you feel like you cannot send a message. But are you able to reply a message?

I am having this issue since long I remember you had sent me a message and I could not respond to you

For me l have never experienced that problem before. l think that should be addressed by the management.

I have taken it up with Management and the situation is still the same I have given up. I used to easily send and reply to messages before 2021

Do you mean that you can't remove Fergal from the recipient list (by clicking the X button) and add another member manually?

I hope you have been able to resolve the issue. I have never been unsuccessful in sending messages. I can imagine what you're going through.

I have done all that several times over but with no results. I will no longer try my luck there. It is almost 3 years that I have encountered this Earlier I used to send and reply to scores of messages I even took this up wit Admin.

Have you tried with all your browser extensions and plugins disabled?

I can not send messages to owner of website, because I want to merge my account. I think I need to have little 20 post to send private messages.

I hope @bestwriter is now able to send messages as its quite long now and I have never faced any such issues
