I am confused.

In order to make $5 payment via PayPal, you need to have a member link.

Is it possible to get a $5 Amazon voucher instead?

Do I really have to reach 4,500?

As you can see, there are several options included to "cash out" your ForumCoin earnings. If you choose the $5 via PayPal, you need to have a member's link which is priced at 200 FCs and then you also need a minimum of 500 FCs for the $5.00 payment. That means you need to have at least 700 FCs to actually cash out. This is the only option that requires a member's link. It appears obvious that there is some discouragement to just cashing out at the minimum level. Look at the other options.

If you select the Amazon Vouchers, you can acquire the voucher with the minimum 500 FCs and that does not require the member's link.

There is also the option to accumulate 4500 FCs for a bonus. First, there is no member's link required and second, instead of the $45 actual cash value, there is a $5 bonus for accumulating the 4500 FCs before cashing in and you receive $50 instead.

Members also have the ongoing option to spend your FC accumulation by responding to the member ads and simply spending as you go. There is no member link required to use it as you go along and there are no transaction fees involved in member to member trades.

It should be in Indian currency i.e. Rupees. I read somewhere that amazon.com gift cards are not valid in India since amazon.in is operative in India.
