Change in fonts in Forumcoin!

Postby suny » 04 Apr 2019, 09:04

Is it me or anyone else that noticed the change of fonts? I saw a different font yesterday and now it's back to the usual one.

A few months ago, I broached upon this topic here and at that time no one here supported me or was interested in such a change on forumcoin. Now suddenly, something is happening?!

I honestly don’t know of anything our side that cause this. We haven’t made any changes recently (well visual changes anyway) so it isn’t anything we have changed and reverted. Neither have I experienced any font changes either. Maybe it may be related to an ad network injecting a font as well as ads. That is the only thing I can think off.

If I can remember right it looked similar to 'courier new font' and I am still feeling the same now. But after posting it becomes back to normal

I don't think I noticed any change in font. I have been here very day of the week. I am usually pretty observant. Maybe it didn't happen when I was logged in here. They thing that happened was I was thrown out of the site a couple of times.

It still looks too tiny in my eyes. I have a big problem with smaller fonts, it gives me eye problems. I would like for it to be adjusted.

Although slightly off topic, thought I should give the answer to this question, since others may have a similar experience.

You can adjust the size of the text on any site with a simple keyboard control:

Press and hold the "Ctrl" Key and the "+" key to make the text larger
It will increase all text on the page in size each time you click the combination.

To go back:

Press and hold the "Ctrl" Key and the "-" key to make the text smaller.

If you want the page to go back to the default size:

Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and the (Zero) "0" key and everything goes back to the original size.

Put all that in your personal book of tricks. It should work on any page on the Internet and make it easier for you to read what you are seeing.

I once did this unintentionally and I messed up view. I had to reinstall the browser to see normal text again. Now I know a few command that usually changes just like the above.

There was a user in the past who posted his user name in a unique font: cүвεя_נυηкιε
The rest of his content was normal but the user name itself was unusual.

In addition, our old friend Sam posted this about changing the font (with a sample)

✔ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴘᴏsᴛs sᴛᴀɴᴅ ᴏᴜᴛ?
