Earlier today and just a moment ago, I tried replying some messages sent to me but discovered I couldn't.

Apparently, I need to have been here for a period of time or something to be able to do so.

This is somehow frustrating and I don't think newbies should be restricted this way.

The personal message system will automatically allow you to send out pm messages after you have contributed 20 posts to the site. The delay is part of the spam protection system.

Okay, 20 posts isn't a very high figure. Been here for almost a week and I should hit that figure anytime soon.

Well that's exciting I'm going to be able to send messages at 20 posts. I need to read more to see what I can do with that. I just posted about following the rules so I better keep my word.
