New PayPal Incentive to Post High Quality Content

Postby OldGuy » 27 Aug 2019, 12:16

I already have the existing offer to award improvements in quality scores.
ForumCoin Awards Offer For Improving Quality Content

Maybe it isn't the only incentive that will work. I have been thinking about something members have been asking for to “up the ante” … PayPal Fees

When you cash in your ForumCoins, you have to pay a fee to take those funds from your PayPal Account. Many members have been commenting on this very expensive issue:
PayPal Fees

So … here is the added incentive to make sure you only contribute high quality content:

Divide your total number of reputation points by your total number of posts and read the results as a percentage.

This offer is only being made to those with at least a 16% reputation point score.
You have to produce high quality content to get there.

If your score is not yet there, work very hard to only provide high quality content to encourage the other members in the community to give you positive reputation points. Improvements in your reputation score must be accompanied by visible improvements in your content to be considered valid.

Although length is not necessarily an indication of quality, your posts need to be long enough to fully explain what you are saying, and needs to include content that will further educate future readers on the topic. Anything less is basically junk. Don't post junk.

On the other hand, if you see content that adds value to the topic with added information that further educates you on the topic, be sure to give it a positive reputation point. Your opinion matters, but don't waste positive reputation points on junk or useless posts.

When you cash in your ForumCoin collection, send me a copy of your FC transaction displaying the fees you had to pay via pm. As long as your reputation score is above 16%, I will transfer that amount to your account to reimburse that expense.

Again, this offer is only for those who have a reputation score above 16%, and only for PayPal/ForumCoin transactions.

As with my other offers, this is only valid until I run out of funds.
Donations gladly accepted to help keep this offer up for everyone.

Now... Is that incentive enough to get you to contribute high quality content to ForumCoin?

This is a great incentive and I'm sure a lot of users will be very happy to hear this because it was a bit disheartening to have to give up $1 worth of FC especially for someone without websites. I just hope that people start giving out reputation points for content that is actually high quality without just skipping over them

An alluring offer but I would think twice before being a burden on OldGuy. I love earnings coming for my work but not at the cost of others. Thanks a lot OldGuy for the offer though.

Sounds like a great offer, but unfortunately I no longer use PayPal and doubt if I ever will again. As more people get accounts terminated and funds frozen for six months, the closer the demise of PayPal looms on the horizon.

I am probably the first who availed this offer. I redeemed 1500 FC and messaged OldGuy if I qualified for the same. Here is his answer-
You have received 113 ForumCoin with following comment:
PayPal Fee

NOTE: I am keeping 13 FC and returning 100 FC so that he could use it for more productive projects.
Thank You OldGuy
