There are tons of old topics in the ForumCoin archives. The biggest problem in replying to old topics is that many of them are no longer valid for any additional commentary. If you bring up an old topic, pay close attention to the red letter warning directly above the comment block:
You are attempting to reply to a topic that is x years and x months old. Please only reply to this topic if your reply adds something to this discussion, or search for another related topic that may be more suitable. Posts such as thanking users, congratulating users or posting that you are or are not part of a site discussed does not constitute a worthwhile reason to revive an old topic.
That means if you don't have some new and unique educational content that adds value to this specific topic, you should not post anything at all. Posting new junk content especially in an old topic dragged back from the archives could earn you a negative reputation point.
The Unanswered Posts link includes many older topics that never received any reply when they were fresh. In most cases, that was because no one was interested when they were fresh and no one before you has thought so since then until you decided to add something. If you decide to add something to an old topic, make sure it is valid new information on that topic and that the topic itself is still relevant.
The entire first page of 50 topics listed in the Unanswered Posts link only goes back to August. The entire second page only goes back to April. Answer them if you have valid new information that adds value to the topic. Otherwise, they too will eventually fall into the abyss of the archives where they belong.
Almost all still there from page 3 and older are no longer relevant as current topics. If you go back to older topics, make certain you only do so if you can provide fresh, new, unique and current information that adds value to the topic. Otherwise, leave them alone.
