Hi, I am curious to know. Was there a change in the number of views for an article to be popular or it is nolonger working? @OldGuy answer this

Best way to get answers on questions about site rules and regulations is to look at the posts from Fergal and/or Cyberfreak. You can also write directly to them via pm for direct answers. I'm just another member with no more authority than you, although I seem to pay more attention to site details than most.

In this case, the top two posts locked in place as "stickies" at the top of the Articles Section explain how you can becomes an article writer and how you get paid. Fergal edited a change in payments way back before July 2021. I can't add anything more about it.

I was also wondering how the payments for the articles work. Maybe the management should clarify what they had earlier. We were paid for views and comments for the articles, nowadays it's hard even to know if your article was popular unless @Fergal specifies that it is.

Getting Paid for your Article

You will receive 25 ForumCoin when you first post your article, if your article is popular with our members and our forum admins judge your article to be be one of our higher quality articles, we will pay you an additional 125 ForumCoin, bringing the total payment for your article to 150 ForumCoin.

That is the answer! It is not automatic rather manually approved.
