ForumCoin allows members to post content based on their own knowledge of each topic. Some members make an effort to contribute content that actually adds value to the topic and some just slap in meaningless junk comments to earn the revenue for posting something, even if it adds no value to the conversation and even if they know nothing about the topic.
Almost without exception, those who regularly slap in more than 10 posts per day have a habit of posting nothing but junk content. The site would be far better off if those bozos were gone. (You know who you are and yes if it applies, I'm talking about you.)
All members are also asked to rate content as you browse the posts. If you encounter content that truly adds value to the topic, you are asked to simply give it the positive reputation point it deserves for added value. Unfortunately, only about one out of ten quality posts are receiving the positive points they deserve, and some idiots issue positive reputation points for useless junk content. Even though points are given voluntarily and seemingly at random, those who are consistently contributing content that adds value to each topic tend to receive more positive reputation points for their efforts and earn a higher reputation score. Even at random, the scores do indicate which members are providing higher quality content. Please make a habit of giving out positive reputation points for content that adds value to the topic just as you would like to receive positive reputation points for high quality content you provide.
On the other hand, if you encounter content that does not add value to the topic, please click on that exclamation point in the triangle to report it to the site administration. Let them decide if it deserves a negative reputation point rather than create conflict between members. Yes, it does work. The site has a collection of 177 members who left us with negative reputation scores and another 929 who have been banned.
For the entire history of ForumCoin, the reputation scores have never affected your earnings with the exception of at least a 1 FC penalty for each negative point you receive. Every member receives the same equal earning for each post. The reputation score is merely a community opinion of the quality of your content. Your collection of reputation points has always been nothing more that a guide to let you know how well you are doing. If you have a low score it is a message from the FC community telling you that you need to do better. If your score is above 10%, the community is telling you that you are doing just fine, even though you can always do better. 265 members have scores above 10%. The top earned reputation score is currently 62.34%.
You can always see your own reputation score by dividing your
count of reputation points by your total number of posts and reading the results as a percentage.

I've been studying these details as part of my activity on ForumCoin since 2018. I've been recording all site activity since day 1. The overall average reputation score for all members was above 11.5% in 2018 but has been gradually dropping each day for the past few years. As of this moment, it is all the way down to just 7.8955%. The majority of all members have been dumping in very low quality content and the majority of all members fail to give positive reputation points when deserved.
I've now made two personal offers to all members
so you can earn extra revenue by
improving your own reputation scores.

The first offer for 2024
New Year 2024 Challenge with awards

For those with less than an 11% reputation score, you can earn an extra 10 FC for every 1% improvement in your own reputation score until your score is above 10%.
For all members: If you successfully earn a reputation score above 30% there is an added offer of a 50 FC award.
Always do your very best to provide new and unique educational content that truly adds value to the topic with each post to earn more positive reputation points. Always do your part to give positive reputation points to content you feel adds quality to the topic just as you would like to receive positive reputation points for your own high quality content. All members can now earn more revenue by earning positive reputation points for high quality content ... as long as you do your part to give positive points when deserved.
The second offer for 2024

Based on your count of posts, awards are given out for new members as they pass
their first 100 posts, then again at 500 posts, 1000 posts and each subsequently added 1000 posts.
However, the awards are based on your earned reputation scores.
The higher your reputation score, the higher your award.
