34 members logged in during the latest 48 hour period

Out of that total:
16 posted content in the latest 24 hours
5 last posted content in the previous 24 hours.

That means 13 members logged in during the latest 48 hour period but did not find anything of interest to post content. They visited and left without participating. Many who did contribute something only left a single post during their visit.

That is 38% of those who logged in but did not post content. These numbers have become normal in recent weeks. Participating members, daily post counts, topics to work with, reputation points and new members joining in are all way down this year.

There are currently 161 topics displayed under the New Posts link
92 topics have been added in 2024 and are included in the current display.
That means there are 69 old topics that have been rerun over and over again. 29 of them with way beyond thousands of views and repeated posts. Many members find the old content dull and boring but there are those witless few who keep dragging them back to the surface.

We have a serious shortage of new topics to work with. New topics only come from active members. There is no other source. The serious shortage of new topics is leading to falls in every site statistic.

The count of active members over the latest 30 days is lower than it used to be each day. We used to have over 350 active topics to work with. We used to have more than 450 posts each day. We used to have a much higher reputation score averages. * We used to have several active new members join in every week. Although 14 members have signed on since May 14, none of them have posted any content. If you refer anyone, please choose new members who will contribute new content. When you refer a new member, be their mentor to get them rolling. It is all based on the activity of the currently active members.
*(EDIT: The new member counter has not been working for the last month but no one noticed. All new members since May 14 did not even show up until June 21 but all show ZERO posts.)

Everyone has their own reasons for their daily activity but it appears obvious that many are simply not finding enough new topics to peak their interests, including many who do post something, but not at their usual daily rate.

Posting new topics every time you log in should be part of your site participation. You like to find new topics of interest when you log in don't you? Well so does everyone else.

Do your part. Post new topics as part of your site participation. And do the rest of the stuff that supports ForumCoin if you like it here.

You make an excellent point, OldGuy. I believe I am guilty of slowing down on producing content at the very least. I have been out of the foruming community for a while now trying to focus on other things, I felt I didn't have much to offer this forum because my main focus hasn't been earning online in a good while. I feel I don't have valuable information to give really. My latest online earning ventures was that trick with buying gift cards from swagbucks and getting cashback on them.

I am hopeful that my endeavors for Web Development will give me more to talk about. I am currently almost done making a website I was using as a learning tool and actually plan to publish it to a domain soon!

The phrase "Are you part of the problem, or part of the solution?" is often used to challenge individuals to reflect on their actions and their impact on a particular issue. It suggests that one's actions or inactions can either contribute to a problem or help resolve it. The origin of this adage is attributed to U.S. pastor Harry Emerson Fosdick, who used various versions of this saying in the 1930shttps://quoteinvestigator.com/2023/06/12/part-solution/.

In any situation, especially in a business or community context, this question encourages people to take responsibility and actively engage in finding solutions rather than exacerbating the problem. It's a call to action that implies everyone has a role to play in making things better, whether it's through direct involvement or supporting those who are working towards a resolution.

The discussion around this phrase can be quite philosophical and can lead to introspection about one's role in societal issues. It's a reminder that being neutral or passive can sometimes mean supporting the status quo, which might be problematic. Therefore, it's important to be conscious of how our choices and behaviors affect the broader picture and strive to be a positive force for change.

I have learnt that we ought not hold ourselves from sharing on Topics where we have our USP or where we feel most enthusiastic or in domains where we excel.
Mine is on Technical Topics, Tips and sharing own observations on Financial and other topics.
Now, some of my articles did not get good responses.
Yet I think that all of us should contribute even one such discussion/article every time, and the cumulative impact would be for everyone to see.

I concur with the fact that all of us who are active here (at least on the weekends from my perspective) should bring new relevant topics.
One need not look too much.
One can get a host of new topics on Technology, Financial World, Crypto (sites like Coingecko, Crypto.com, Coindesk etc), Sports (Ongoing Euro for example) and more.
Yet I think that many of us sometimes just come here, just move around and go away after just posting a ew responses.

As for those who do not post, they might not be inclined to type even a few sentences.

Also, I think even if just a few new members join us, even if the existing ones get more active and start being more meaningful, it would make a huge difference.

By the way, I saw two users with whom I used to interact (I won't name them) being banned.
It is a shock to me as they looked like contributing well enough and I did not imagine that they would be posting junk or doing anything against rules.

Anyways, hoping for the best going forward.

We all desire to earn more from FC. I love how you have clearly outlined the guidelines on what we need to do to make FC a better place for each and everyone. We all want to earn more but we have to work for it. I will try and make time to create new topics.

We can also give reputation scores where they are due. Lets all make FC a better place.
