Re: Alternate Sweeteners that is better for you

Sugar is quite good, but it's quite unfortunate that human are abusive. There are some things that do not need Sugar before it's tasty, but our greed has led us to juvenile diabetes and other consequences. May God deliver us!
My advice is that we should be more careful about sugar, because there are some things that have natural taste without sugar in it.

We also have jaggery but still we do not use it that much.
From what I know Jaggery is a candied form of pure cane sugar, So its basically raw sugar and its better than white sugar as well.

Yes Jaggery is good in sugar control. However, we do not use Jaggery with milk or tea in conformity with some Ayurvedic principles that we follow.

I love to prepare and consume sweet iced tea!

My family physician mentioned a little honey.

Just not sweet enough.

I like my sweet iced tea really sweet.

What should I use?

I really have decreased drinking sweet iced tea though.

You can recommend honey, monk fruit, and the new popular ones, which is agave sugar, but raw sugar is also good.

What i don't get is whg do they have to process sugar to white and brown?

Apparently, white sugar have this clean, sweet taste, while raw sugar is a more deeper, smoky flavor, while brown sugar is for pies and rice desserts

I'd really like to try the jaggery. I did a Google search to see if I could get it locally and people say it's mainly found in Indian-ownded shops, so that's where I'll be heading LOL I just know there's no chance of finding raw sugar here
