Death is inevitable and is bound to happen one day in our life. However, you are truly mistaken if you think your life revolves around fate and destiny. We human conveniently use them as a pretext when arrived to a point of no return; most of us expect miracles to occur. But in reality, one can grant salvation to oneself- your well being is your own to handle, not your family, your friends, or even gods.

That's right, it all depends on how nurturing you are to your very self, whenever you realized the worth of living, out of appreciation and gratitude. No matter how old you are, it's not too late as long you step up your game, and "save" yourself. The following "hacks" are proven effective and may as well serve as a benchmark to ensure a prelude of everlasting welfare in your life:

Relax your mind

Try not to overexert and burdened your mind with pressure from work and life, because it's not good for your health. With that being said, you'll have to find yourself a moment to rest when working, in timely manner. Avoid getting stressed out, because not only it will damaged your mind, but also shortening your lifespan. This is because, stress produces the chemical cortisol, and excessive cortisol would weak our muscles and bones. You can lost up to 5 years of your life if you lead a stressful life. On the bright side, keeping a compose and relax mind would prolong your lifespan by 5 years or more.


Eat nuts

Definitely affordable, but the problem is we underestimate this cute little thing, to the point of replacing it with popcorn as our midnight snack. The thing is, nuts have many benefits to offer to our health despite its tiny appearance, including weight loss, improved sleep, enhanced memory, stronger immune system, and preserve your youth. That's why, eating nuts literally means you're prolonging your lifespan, because you got all the nutrients needed for your body by consuming them.

Become a Vegetarians

To be honest, I could not name even one vegetable that taste good. I am particularly looking for a vegetable that tasted like meat, but its existent would make it unfair for vegetarian because they suffered for nothing. Ironically, tasty food kill us while the non-tasty ones don't. A good example is meat, as the protein nutrient in this food is in fact, will inevitably speeds up aging, thus degrading our life span. But what happens if you are a vegetarian? You'll have longer average life expectancy than most people, while keeping a healthy diet. Furthermore, veggies also helps reducing risk of heart attack, stroke, and cancer.

Be Positive

In term of longevity, being optimistic will definitely add up several years to our lifespan. If you're an older person with active, positive and bright attitude, you will live up to 7 years longer. Additionally, you will reduce the risk of heart attack by 50 percents. By thinking positively, you will be more likely to take care of your own well being in general. That's why, you are more likely to have a longer life by becoming an optimistic person.

These are what you can do as a starting point for a healthy life. However, your life will slowly deteriorates and penalty will stands, taking a toll to your health, if you don't take care of yourself. Do keep in mind that we live only once, so that should be more of a reason to cherish our precious life. Therefore, try to stay healthy to live longer, then in return you can truly be able to appreciate and enjoy your life to the fullest.

Wow those are some really good tips to keep one healthy, strong and live longer. I love groyndnuts I didn't know they have so many benefits, even though I react when I eat, that does not stop me from liking the snack. Thanks for sharing makes a lot of sense indeed.

Thanks for this article. For me it is quite difficult be positive, I always think the worst is going to happen and I think too much in everything that happen in my life, I stress a little bit out and get anxious. I know this is bad for my health and I really need to be more relaxed about things.

great. I see how a healthy attitude increases life expectancy while reducing heart disease.
