BOONS OF FAILURE
“It’s failure that gives you the proper perspective on success.” –Ellen DeGeneresThere are times when you get really angry and frustrated for missing something for which you have worked hard day and night. That failure would often make you feel beaten and stops you from further trying anything new. This will prolong for some period and it varies with people. It is in our hands to learn from that failure. Sometimes that failure would benefit us by luck and you would have said, “Thank god, I didn’t get that.” So, if we take the blessings from the failure our life would be smooth.
Balance between what you CAN control and what you CANNOTThe failure will teach you a great lesson and reminds you of all the times wasted and tells you that you have not worked hard enough. This will motivate you in a great way to work 10 times more the next time. But, sometimes it will give you an ego of “I know everything. I know about my strength. I am getting it.” This is what is called ego, over –confidence etc. If you are ready to go in a positive way, analyzing the flaws this will make you have a better control on what you can do and what you cannot do. This in turn giving you a clear conscience on your future works.
Better SELF –KNOWLEDGE Think of a relationship gone bad. The first thing you do is mourn for a while and then you will move on. Thanks for the experience. You will start to think of the reasons why it is a failure and focus on those mistakes and be aware the next time. Crying over spilled milk is simply a waste of time as you cannot change the past. Taking responsibility and accepting the reality will help in achieving the goal the next time. Bid a goodbye to your old self and reclaim yourself.
Living in the momentFailure reminds you that whatever you plan just doesn’t go by your way in future and gives a cue on living in the present. It reinforces the importance of living in the moment. By doing so, you will be able to adapt yourself to any situations that you face in the present more readily with a firm determination. Also, it reminds you of the things that are intended to be enjoyed at the moment.
Focus on the journeyThis is a common fact that failure will keep reminding you of the journey through which you had traveled, sacrificing sleep, enjoyment, friends, parties and much more. When you are going off track or wasting time it will remind you of the painful experience which will automatically drive you into the path on attaining the specified target. It is good, right?
Opening up to a new and even better roadThe experiences that we encounter from the failure will make you explore the unexplored paths of your life. It will improve your courage and helps you to try something new and even better. This will wear off the pain that you had from your unfulfilled dream, those sleepless crying nights, those backtalk from the people around you. You will recognize this as the road to success and develop the habit of exploring new things and create better opportunities in life.
“Failure doesn’t mean the game is over, it means try again with experience.” –Len Schlesinger. Thanks for reading. Good luck.
