Why do I Always Feel Tired?

Postby grecy0905 » 03 Apr 2017, 19:15

All human beings, young and old experienced tiredness on a regular basis. They think it is always associated with too much sleep, lack of sleep or because they had lots of activities and task did on the last day and the resting period was done in a short time. Besides the common reason, there are other causes why we always feel tired. Below are some of the reason to keep you aware and avoid doing it.

Eating Lots of Refined Carb
Foods that contain carbs are dairy, milk, sweet bread, whole fruit, plain bread, rice, grain, cereal, potatoes, corn, ice cream and yogurt, just to name a few. We get the source of energy from carb. When it enter the body it breaks into sugar, however, when you consume a lot of Refined Carb (too much sugar and too much starch) it will cause you to feel tired. The rise and fall of the amount of blood sugar in your body will cause you to feel severe tired. If you minimize eating refined carb then you will avoid feeling exhausted even from the start of the day.

Lack of Inactivity
When you are living your life you need to be active not only with your work and eating, but also in maintaining the right amount of weight. If you are not exercising or your activity includes a little walk, sitting for whole day and lying in bed, then Chronic Fatigue Syndrome will happen to you. Exercising, especially Cardio exercise will limit you for feeling exhausted. The blood will surely flows in your veins once you do it that avoids you to feel tired and some pain will surely go away.

Not Getting Enough Sleep
Young and adults needs to sleep an average of 6 hours for the adults and 8 hour for the young ones. That number of hours should meet because in sleeping your liver is working in cleaning your body from chemicals that enters it through food. Brain releases hormones and store memories when we are sleeping too. Plus, it needs to complete the five step of sleep cycle. If your sleeping habit is always incomplete, it is quite obvious that you will feel dizzy and tired from the most part of the day. It only causes you to experience difficulty in focus. Maintaining complete sleep solve tiredness issue. Napping is a good way to reset your brain or simply refresh it, so you must do it also.

Sleeping in the Wrong Time
Besides not getting enough sleep, sleeping in a wrong time can cause you to feel tired and exhausted easily too. This happens to people who are working during the night or just some that loves to be awake at night and sleeping during daytime. Sleeping during daytime ruins the body’s circadian rhythm. Circadian rhythm is a body clock that tells us the normal sleeping and waking time.

Eating Few Calories
Calories is a unit of energy found in the found. If you are eating a few, then it is understandable that you will feel tired easily. The metabolism slows down and you will feel exhausted even with a little activity. Older people needs to have more intake of calorie than the young. 1200 calories is needed by most of the people that is why if you are serious in having the right amount of calorie, you need a calorie calculator to compute it with the food you are eating.

Great post and all of what you listed is affecting me I think :(. I found when I worked at the dollar store even though it sucked going to bed at 6pm because of my early shift I was sleeping better at the end of it. Once I got laid off it took me a long time to swing back around to waking up and sleeping a normal time. Sometimes I think I am not tired when I might be and end up in bed at 3-4am which probably doesn't help :|. I plan on eating better though, more fruits and veggies and drinking my right amounts of water will surely help along with some exercise.

Some days I feel more tired if I get more sleep than I usually get. I usually get 6 hours a night and if I get more, I feel more tired the next day

I certainly feel a lot better and have more energy now that I've cut right back on carbs and refined foods, including sugar.

The other thing I'd suggest to anyone who's always tired is to get checked for anemia.

I find that after a heavy meal with meats, makes me feel tired. Yes, lack of sleep also makes me feel tired and like a zombie in the streets.

I also noticed that after a play in the pool also is tiring

All of what you shared and some suggestion you even recommended only add great quality to this post of mine. I want to thank you all. :)

I have to be honest that I am always tired. If you are losing blood like me, with all the bleeding, I think it is quite normal to feel tired but I am trying to follow doctor's advice, yet I am still stubborn, hard headed that is why I am almost tired even without starting something.

Some people might suffer from iron deficiency which can in turn cause them to feel tired. Lack of b vitamins can be a culprit as well. This class of vitamins is known to aid in converting food into energy. Exercise can help build your endurance and help you to be more fit. Stress and depression can wear you down so it is a good idea to keep manage them well.

Sissy, I forgot that your condition causes you to lose blood! That right there is your answer. You're probably anemic, I recognise the symptoms because I have it. If you can find some affordable iron supplements, they'll soon sort you out. Obviously, this is just a hunch on my part. So the first thing I'd suggest you do is to check with your doctor before you do anything. I hope it's nothing serious <3

I already have the medicine for Iron sis, however, I am not taking it right now due to financial problem. If I get money from online site , I buy few of the medicine but I able to meet the quota for it.

You forgot the most important part which is to drink water 8-10 glasses a day. If you're dehydrated, you feel tired too.

thanks for sharing this one too. It is one additional information as it weakens and tightens your nerve if you are dehydrated that leads you to feel weak.

I think dehydrated will make us feel weak rather than tired too.

Water is important for proper functioning of our brain. Taking enough water makes you feel fresh and energetic.
