3 Questions to Ponder for Self-Worth

Postby grecy0905 » 04 Jul 2017, 06:22

Do you ever find yourself thinking what legacy you will leave this world? Do you think that people will miss you? Do you have an idea of what they are talking about when you are gone? Since you are still alive, you do not have to wait for the day that you are gone to realize your self-worth. Remember, everything that you leave in this world will benefit your family and friends regardless if they realize it or not. You will always leave an imprint in this world, so why not leave a very important imprint that will benefit all.

You are still here. You are still leaving. There will be days that you feel you are useless because of all the toxic and stress life is throwing at you. Those problems you have will never make you less a person. It is always the reason of your improvement and the reason why you will value yourself more. While you are still leaving, let me share three questions to ponder on how you live your life from the past and how you will do your best to get better at present to see your life to be to the fullest, in the future.

Did I Live?
Did you live? Yes, you are walking, breathing, talking, singing, and everything that makes up of a verb. This question is really about how you live your life? Are you selfish or a giver? Are you determined or loser? Are you braver or coward? Are you those things or always in between? You need to analyze what you have become. Are you happy, satisfied, do you long for lots of things, do you still want more? Do you love your family more than yourself? Who you really are and how do you live your life?

Did I Love?
Did you love? Love has different meanings and reasons. We love for happiness. We love for companions. We love for it makes as a person worthy. We love to change our attitude. We love to be brave. We love to help. What kind of love are you giving? Did you love unselfishly? Did love give you the courage to do those things you never imagine? Do you view love to be real? Are you realistic about love? Love, to whatever it means to your life, it is always important that a person has it. If you have it, are you sharing it? Giving love is the most precious in this world. Love is the answer to some problems. Love changes everything. What kind of love you shared and you want to share more?

Did I Matter?
From all the things you had done to your family, friends, and colleague, do you think you matter? Have you become part of a society of helping people? Do you pray for them? Does your decision matters to your family and friends? Do they think of you before having a certain decision? Do your family and friends need you? If you feel in your heart that your family and friends matters to you, surely you matter to them too. If you think you can live your life without them, it holds true with them too. As you live, you become part of everyone’s life. As long as you touch other people’s lives, you matter.

During your busy lives, there will come a time that you think you are useless. The three questions above is what you can use to realize your self-worth to the people around you. Sometimes you feel you don’t matter, but you do, you always did. You just need to know the deeper sense of your life.

* * Good questions. Your 3 questions are about how you lived in this world and how your treated others. Since I believe in the afterlife, my final question is always: Am I ready to meet my Maker and will He be pleased? I want your 3 questions and my final question to all be in sync. The answers to the 3 questions feed into the response to that final question.

If you don't love your self first, you can never love someone else. It is very important to love who you are, in spite of how or where you think you are in life. Self worth and self love go hand in hand. If you are think you are not worth anything, then you will loathe yourself. And this will form a vicious circle that will seep through every aspect of one's life.

I should write that self worth shouldn't be depended on people or things or else one would not raise his or her self esteem.Do what you have got to do and don't be afraid to fail and don't depend on anyone for satisfaction.
