Tips to Getting You Started When You Think You are Not Ready

Postby grecy0905 » 08 Apr 2017, 21:47

Have you had something in mind to get started? It could be business, getting a new career, having a new job, new course or online courses, or anything that you want to start but until now you haven’t started it yet?

Being not ready is the real reason why you have something that you haven’t started yet. You think that being ready means you will fail at first. It makes you afraid. You will make a lot of mistakes that will frustrate you and feel demotivated. Isn’t it make a difference once you ready to start it? What is being ready for not being ready when how many times it happens to people that they are ready and they still experienced making mistakes and demotivated? It doesn’t make any difference at all.

There is a one tip I could give to you that will help you to start what you wanted to start. This is a realistic approach to a goal you want to achieve that you must be following. What you need to do is this.

Start When You Are Not Ready
When you have a goal and you want to start it, there are times you procrastinate or change your mind about it when you are not sure. If you think you are sure about it, sometimes procrastinating still happens because you are not ready. There are lots of factors that stops you from stepping the first steps. You feel you might stink it. You are afraid of almost everything that comes along that makes you back out and stop having that goal. Remember, you will not have something without starting something so the best approach is to start when you are not ready.

It is okay. If you fail at first, then it is normal. It is called Beginner. Everyone begins with getting know everything, failing about everything and making the biggest mistakes they ever did. It is part of being a human. It is part of us growing. Everyone experience this. Every single CEO of their own company have been through this so why not start with your goal?

Start when you are ready. This is my Mantra. I treat this as a virtual wall that I will break to start my goal. I learned this from Maria Forleo. She is one of the people that inspire me because she will help you to use your potential and talents to change your life. You can find most of her videos on YouTube.

Here’s a thing. You just need to start what you need to start. When it comes to preparation, you are ready on the first second you think about a new goal, career, job or anything you want to change in your life. It will not enter your brain if you are not ready for that. You don’t need to feel excited, thrill and be enthusiasts about it, you just need to step on the game and get started.

If you are afraid of it that is why it is stopping you to start, then you will know the reason once you get started. You should not wait till you are ready because you are ready. Erase all the doubts you have inside because you will just know everything once you do it. Every entrepreneur does this. They do it first, they try it first before they come up with the decision if they are ready or not.

See, is that easy? If you there are things stopping you, you are wrong. Break all the barriers that avoiding you to make things happen and start before you are ready.

And you will never grow if you are continuing to feel like running away from it. Nothing will happen if you think you have something in mind but you are still not ready to dive in the water.

I used to be nervous about starting something. Whether it is a new job or a website. Now I just jump in the shallow end nice and easy and move toward the deep end. in other words, I don't go full force. I take it slow and do my research before I take the leap.

Taking it slow means you are diving into it and trying it yourself. It is the exact way of Doing it when you are not ready.

I agree with you. Just start whatever you wish to start or otherwise you be procrastinating all the time waiting for that time when you'll be ready. Get organized and ready with whatever you have and start off!

Some start with full plan in hand while some start with lack of planning, my hubby always tease me is the last minute and lack of planning type. But, I will say he is the NATO (no action talk only) type.
Which type is better?

I am not agree on the talk only no action or no action talk only type as I was like that before and it is quite ugly when you can't commit to it. Execution is always important. A plan is nothing without execution. A plan is just a guide and you will always revised it from time to time if it does not work.

I'm also one of them who are very much afraid to mark first step on any journey which we choose to get to our destination of life. I am always like these people. I don't know why i am all this and when i try to start my journey, i always have a feeling of insecurity that i wouldn't get success if i started just now. But the reality is that i have not got success in my life because of this feeling.

To get started you need to draw out your plans and your goals and outline what you'll achieve at the end of the day.with this, you would want to start and finished immediately to enjoy the benefits.
