Great post and great points here. I have to say even though I have been doing online work for a very long time there has only been a couple times where it was so good I didn't need any other job. Then things happen like sites that stop paying or close down and that is one more thing down the drain. I think the only way someone can earn a lot online to replace an offline income is to either be selling a service to online clients or running a successful blog or website. Staying positive is important though too even during the bad times.

Yes, it can be quite a roller coaster ride. Up one day, down the next. I've yet to really encounter anything worthwhile that allows me to earn a passive income, but most of the sites I'm working on currently don't require too much time (or even effort). I wouldn't mind working hard to make some money, if I could find good work that fits my time demands.

Your points and expressions are factual. Scams are phenomenon that exists both online and offline jobs but care and reviews are what makes us not fall victims.
