Pop Make $10 in 15 minutes

Postby to7update » 29 Oct 2016, 11:44

If I read such a topic I would think that it's a scam, but the fact is that it is not.

I am talking about Usertesting.com, a site where all we have to do is test websites and this in average takes around 15 minutes for a $10 payment in PayPal. I am averaging 15 tests per month, so this means approximately $150 per month, so it's good money.

How does it work exactly?

1. You will need to speak English, a computer connected to the internet and a microphone (or a computer with a microphone incorporated)

2. Register at the site and after confirming the e-mail address you will be asked to install the Usertesting screen recorder, something that it's easily done in a matter of minutes

3. After that you will record an admission test that takes about 5 minutes, something extremely simple that will determine if you are admitted to the site or not. Usually the approval comes under one week and if the account is approved you become eligible to take the usertesting tests that pay $10. It's the easiest money I have ever earned!

How do you get notified that you have a test?

The best way to receive more tests is to leave the usertesting window open at all times and the audio in the computer high because even if you are not at the computer you hear a "tling" sound indicating there is a test available. If you hear that sound run to the usertesting tab and do the screener as fast as you can because I imagine there are thousands of other people around the world doing the same thing and you need to be faster to get the test.

So basically the "tling" is money in our pocket.

If you managed to get screened in, just click accept and do the test. After the upload a $10 payment will be pending for one week in your dashboard and you just have to wait for it to go to your PayPal account. Sweet and easy!

There are also tests that just pay $3, but those are shorter (approximately 5 minutes) and don't happen so often.

Ratings
Give it your best, meaning, don't rush through the test because you can be rated by the site owners and those ratings determine the amount of tests you receive. Bad ratings can even mean the inactivity of the account.

I think this sums it up! Any questions do let me know, I will be happy to put you on your way to the easiest :$:10 you have ever earned. :shh:

Thanks for a nice walkthrough. This is something that I may consider in my coming days.

I wish you would elaborate more on the tests. What exactly needs to be done on them and what does that software do?

This is the one Dreeklass talks about, @Decentlady.

I did try signing up for this site and was excited about it, but apparently there is an audio issue on my end that I need to get tweaked. Hopefully, my husband can figure it out.

In what country are you Amelll? From what I understand there are tests available for every single country, but what have asked around there are more opportunities for people in the US, UK, Canada and Australia because those are the biggest clients for Usertesting. Give it a go!

No problem, I am glad to be able to help because as you can imagine, those earnings do have a positive impact in my life and I am always looking forward to similar sites (there are a couple of them).

Let's see about the tests. For example, you are asked to test the Dell website, imagining you are trying to buy a laptop for example. The make you 5-10-15 questions about the site or steps you need to take and they are recording your voice, comments and verbal reactions about it.

The software is basically a voice and screen recorder, so it records the screen of your computer.

Any more questions?

What sort of audio issues to you have Decentlady? Many times it's just a matter of adjusting the volume of the microphone in the computer definitions.

What is the meaning of "if you get screened?", it means there is an initial screening before you start the test? The ting sound sounds like UsabilityHub. I want to try this one but I don't have microphone on my laptop. My camera is even not working. I need to work on my laptop first.

This is something I might consider. I don't mind using a microphone (but not a webcam) although I would like to know what kind of tests they give. You say they are easy but would everyone find them easy?

I have signed up some other site just like this. They send websites to test before I start to click that one, they said, the test is unavailable within a fraction of a second I have missed the oppurtunity. So I am just thinking off to whether sign up to this site or not

Thanks so much for this informative post, @to7update. I've always been interested in Usertesting because I've heard so much about it, but have never made the time to join. It really helps to hear a member's firsthand account of what it's really like. I may just try for it. I don't really like the idea of talking, but beggars can't be choosers, and right now I'm bereft of options.

In some tests you just need to accept, other tests ask you a couple of questions to see if you are eligible for the test or not, something basic.

You don't need a camera, just a microphone, $5 or $10 can buy you one!

I say give it a try. You need to be able to verbalize your thoughts, basically they require us to think out loud. ;)

Yep, that might happen, that's why I say to be fast to do the screener or to accept, "tling" is money and it's awful to see money flying away from our hands!

Thanks for sharing this site and I think, I have come across this before. But I didn't like the part where I need to talk to be able to work on anything. So I might let this opportunity pass.

No problem, I wish you could take advantage from it. Why do you say you don't like to talk @cessy_08?

There are similar sites that require a webcam, so that's even worse, but I don't mind really, I just get the job done.

Well, I'd rather work on my freelance sites without the need to work as if I am doing a call center job. Not to mention I am just doing it to pass the time, too and earn a little bit from the process :) I have a full-time job, too. So, I don't want my manager or colleagues to see me in a the middle of a survey or testing

Thank @to7update for coming back on my comment. Now I need to find a good microphone for it. Can I register on the site while I am still looking for microphone? I will check on Youtube some reviews of laptop microphone, the cheaper ones with quality and will try this. This is exciting.

Yeah, I know what you mean, that is why I have to do those tests at home, I can't do them at work (I have a full time job too). At the same time, as it just takes 15 minutes, it's a time I am happy to spend given the compensation.

No problem and yes, you can register at the site, but you cannot apply until you take the test with the microphone. This one cost $5 at Amazon:

Do you think this can be good for your computer?

Seems a good idea for those who have the time. I don't at the moment but may be later.

If you could post a screenshot of your earnings that will further get approval and many would perhaps join.

I am sure this is a good program for people interested in survey sites. I have no problem doing such sites as long they accept international memebrs. I will give this site a try even if they record video chat.
