What do you mean, you failed to install the software? What error do you have?

And what was the issue with the mic?

Right now, I dont remember the issue, but the mic issue is its unable to connect or I can say I can't record anything in it.

For a long time I've been hopping to register with UserTesting, but for some reason I'm unable to download their screenrecorder. The OS of my laptop is pretty old. It is Windows 7. That could be a reason, I guess, for not been able to register with the site.

I am using Windows 7 with no issues with them. They have a new screen recorder though, so give it a try?

Thank @to7update for coming back on my comment. Now I need to find a good microphone for it. Can I register on the site while I am still looking for microphone? I will check on Youtube some reviews of laptop microphone, the cheaper ones with quality and will try this. This is exciting.

I too have been planing to get into it since it seemed to have proven to be a really legit way of earning, and so far, I haven't read any negative comments about it yet. What keeps me from doing any trials yet, is that I know I have very limited knowledge on what tester are supposed to do. I'm still researching more about it so as not to waste the chance of being accepted.
