Having fruit trees can be a great annual source of extra income after all though it is not as profitable as ducks since they only bear fruits during season. Your backyard wont have trees in one day.

That's an excellent point! Living surrounded by that many trees must give you a unique perspective on the long-term commitment and patience required for tree planting. It's not an instant gratification project, that's for sure.

There is a shortcut though by planting propagated cuttings instead of planting seeds and saplings

Here is a footage of how to prune a tree so it wont turn into an overwhelming tower.

Growing fruit trees is fun, but harvesting from a 20-foot tree is like climbing a mountain! 5-foot trees bring the joy of harvesting without ladders, without danger, and with the ease of involving the whole family. Plus, shorter trees absorb nutrients more quickly from the soil and fertilizer, so they produce more.

In my childhood home, we had fruit trees: a small mango tree, a Chinese plum tree, and a huge coconut tree. Having fruit trees is awesome.
