CATEGORY: TECHNOLOGYBest ways to save android battery life
The use of smartphone is increasing steadily but the major problem we face is the battery issues. Whatever we do, we find difficulty in saving battery’s energy despite the boosters and the cleaner apps. So, here are some of the hacks for saving our android’s battery life from getting fully drained.
1. Switch on the internet connection when not in use:Wifi and mobile data are the deadly predators of life as they consume a large amount of battery’s energy. When you are traveling if your wifi is on, it will consume a whole lot of battery’s power to find out the best open network for you. Also, mobile data consumes a large amount. So when you are not using the internet it is better to switch off wifi and mobile data to save battery. If not you can use the airplane mode too save battery while traveling for a long time and if you will not get any phone calls on the go.
2. Vibration:Avoid putting your phone in vibration as every time your phone buzzes it has to run a small motor for vibration which takes up a lot of battery’s energy for that. So, it is good to put your phone in vibration when you are really busy but not for long.
3. Use Greenify:Greenify is an app which helps to put other apps in hibernation to help save battery. It is a free app and is highly effective though. It avoids some apps running in the background. It won’t work for all the apps and you must be careful in selecting which apps you want to hibernate. For example, when we use Amazon app we surf for things and then simply swipe it off from the recently used apps window thinking that it is closed. But it runs in the background and this where Greenify comes handy.
4. Avoid using live wallpapers and go for a black one:Live wallpapers consume a lot of battery energy. Since most of the android phones come with an Amoled screen it is best to have a black wallpaper as light color wallpapers consumes a lot of battery for producing the animated colored pixels.
5. Reduce brightness level and auto lock:Avoid using auto brightness option. Have an optimum brightness level that your eyes don’t get hurt and you use your phone without much difficulty. When you are not using your phone dim your brightness level to minimum to save battery. Also, have a minimal time for auto locking as it saves battery.
6. Keep upgrading the battery:If your battery still gets drained and fastly and you find it charging frequently then it is good to get a better battery with the suitable features.
To conclude that optimal use of the smartphone can help in saving our battery’s life. Regular upgrading of apps can also be a battery saving. So use it optimal as much as possible. Thanks for reading.
