Losing weight is not easy. It requires hard work and perseverance. It does not happen quickly too. It needs determination and persistent to continue achieving it. Since results could only be achieved after a long time of hard work, one should be open-minded and willing to wait.

These tips below are results of certain studies conducted by different universities. They used people to test if these tips could work effectively. It did that is why I am sharing this with you. It is easy to do. You are even doing it already. You just need to make it a habit. Take note, you need to do it for 66 days or more to successfully make it a habit.


Eat In Front of The Mirror
If you see yourself eating food and psychological effect, you didn’t like it, surely you will not gain appetite and you will eat less. Putting a mirror in front of you is a perfect way to lessen the appetite for eating foods. This only works with people who gets affected easily by what they see. It is like seeing yourself having lots of wrinkles and you feel bad about it. This will avoid you to overeat.

Taking the Stairs instead of using Elevators
Taking stairs instead of Elevators is only applicable to how much floors we can bare to reach by walking. It is not applicable to 10th to 40th floor, of course. According to studies of the University of New Mexico, climbing 2 floors a day will lose you 6 pounds a year. If you climb up to 4th floor regularly, then y you will lose 12 pounds per year.

Strength Training
Cardio exercise is very effective in reducing excess fats. One should start with light weight training to heavy weight. It could be any kind of cardio exercises, especially boxing and popular, Cross Fit exercises. Do only what you can and do not put on too many strains in your muscles.

Drinking 2 Glasses Each Meal
It could be applicable to do when you are having your lunch and dinner. It is not advisable to do it during Breakfast as we need to get 25% of energy from it. If you drink 2 glasses of water before lunch and dinner, you will lose your appetite and eat less. It makes you feel fuller, so you eat less. One glass of water is good too when you include vegetables in your meal. Vegetables is a lightweight food and it is good filling as well. Water is effective in speeding up your metabolism. It helps in digesting food and lowers your calorie intake.

Walk Regularly
If your regular activity doesn’t include walking, you must need to include walking into your activities. Walking for 30 minutes total in a day will help you lose excess fats especially on the lower part of your body. It is an effortless activity that we are doing that losses 255 calories when we do it for an hour and 391 calories if you do Brisk walk regularly.

Thanks for the tips, I don't like to eat in front of the mirror, but I would suggest to eat those food in our plate, not add on anymore or take for the second round. This helps to control our diet or avoid overtaken. :P

I totally agree with taking the stairs instead of the elevator/life and walking because that works for me. Plus, I absolutely enjoy walking, so for me, it doesn't even feel like a workout. Those who know me will tell you I always power walk it wherever I'm going LOL

The one about eating in front of a mirror made me giggle LOL A bit unconventional, but I reckon it would work. Thanks for sharing, sis :)

Those tips should be good in helping someone to lose some of their excess weight. They are simple but effective and often overlooked. They can be done year round.

The truth about losing weight all day is just to move the body all day.Don't be a bag of tomatoes, sitting at a place all day just move a little every hour.
