THE POWER OF THREE P's- PATIENCE, PERSISTENCE & PERSEVERANCE
Life is beautiful and we live in a wonderful world with all the basic amenities that every man needs- food, clothing, and shelter. We live in a technological world where everything comes and happens in a blink. Often times we get consumed by the problems that we face and give up easily. Just remember, you are not the only one who is facing problems while there are lots of people out there facing much worse and worst than yours. We should be thankful for not having to undergo such struggles. The thing is we easily lose our patience and confidence when we don't get the expected result. If you don't get it in the first time, so what? Not all the great people who have achieved their dreams have given up just because of a small failure. They were willing to go for it despite the failures. So what made them go hard for it. It is the three P's- Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance.
PATIENCEBeing patient during hard times is not an easy task. It needs great endurance and self-discipline. Patience is a moral virtue which is earned through life experiences. It is like holding water by the dam, controlling provocation, bearing the misfortune and pain yet being cool and calm on the outside. We should learn to wait for certain things and we should give time for certain things to happen. You can't force a tree to grow on the same day you sowed a seed. You should give time and water it daily in order to have the fruits of your tree. The same thing goes for life too. Without enough hard work, you can't expect the results and it takes time. Accept the reality and keep working hard, things will happen in the run and it happens when you least expect it. So learn to wait and time will answer. But without your effort, the waiting period will go in vain.
PERSISTENCEPersistence is another important key which is also earned through constant determination. When you are determined and set to achieve a goal, you should be prepared to face the obstacles. The goal is set by you and you know that it is not going to be easy. Remember, if it was easy, everybody would be doing it. Define your goals clearly and keep working for it despite the failures. You should keep working despite the negativity around you. Take the first step and be willing to take risks. If it is worth having there is nothing wrong in holding your ground persistently.
PERSEVERANCEPersistence and perseverance may both sound similar but it is the fuel and turmoil which keeps you working towards your goals firmly. Perseverance is staying steadfastness in your goals and aim. If you want it, go get it. The people talking and demotivating you is not going o work for you. So why listen to their words and doubt yourself? If you truly want it, your goals will not look as a burden and impossible. You have the ability and in this one life what is more satisfying than living your dream. Do all the things while you are young as one day when you get old and recap your life, you should say "I am glad that I did those things." Nobody wants a life with regrets, right?
So just remember the three P's and work towards your goals with full potential. You will surely get it.
Thanks for reading. Good luck.
