Why is Postpaid internet better than prepaid internet

Postby Netherrealmer » 06 Jul 2022, 07:31

A lot of members of this community are subscribers of prepaid internet. I believe they even struggle to make a dollar a day because they have to conserve data. What they end up earning, though, stops them from financially prospering. I was in the same hole for a long time, but ever since I went for a fiber connection, I have made more money and had more fun with entertainment. Before you dabble in this subscription, you can pay for the first four months.

Why is Postpaid internet better than prepaid internet?

High-paying internet jobs require more data! If I still have prepaid internet, I will be stuck paying PTC and surveys with those peanuts worth of payment. The highest paying online jobs require you to make a video call or play audio files or videos. There might be jobs where you have to send large files and cannot deliver that with limited data. I took a risk, and now I have better-paying jobs online. Some online jobs will reject you when they find out your internet is not postpaid.

Unlimited internet makes entertainment better- You won't have deals with tv commercials anymore and watch tv shows ads free on streaming services. Streaming services are much cheaper than cable. If you cannot afford the subscription of streaming services, there is also pirating, which is more attainable with postpaid internet. Online gaming is also smoother with high-speed internet. You will encounter fewer lags and buffering.

Some postpaid internet comes with a free landline,
and I know most people think a landline is obsolete, but in emergencies where there is no signal, Landline still works. Also, since it is part of the subscription, You won't have charges when you call a customer service hotline or order a pizza.

The whole household can have unlimited use of the internet. There could be ten people living in your house, and All of them can enjoy unlimited high-speed internet.
No need for budgeting data. Can you budget 24 GB of data within a whole month? Watching 4 HD five-minute videos on Youtube is like 1 GB of data, and I know some people are trying to conserve 5 GB of data a month. Since my subscription became unlimited, I do not need to budget for data because I have unlimited access to it as long as I pay all of my internet bills in time.

Prepaid plans are cheaper and offer more flexibility for the people who use them but postpaid are more expensive and offer more perks. It would also depend on the work you do on the internet.

We all share my internet, it has no issue though when applying for some jobs they reject me due to bad network connections. I love my internet provider, they're quite affordable.

I pay 27 dollars for post paid internet and it comes with unlimited data, high speed, free landline, free subscription to HBO max and a reliable technical support.

I am on postpaid internet with unlimited traffic. I only must send one SMS after spending 5 GB of data in a day. It is not worth having package with limited traffic for me since I must use Internet for regular job and online jobs.

When I first arrived from the UK, where internet access is considerably cheaper, I had absolutely NO CLUE what data bundles were. We got ourselves what they call a 'dongle' this side of the world, and surfing the net goggled up data in the blink of an eye. As soon as we had a place of our own, we applied for unlimited internet because above anything else, my husband and I need it for work. In Botswana, unlimited internet is way cheaper than data bundles, but many people can't sustain the monthly instalments.

I personally don't prefer post paid unlimited internet. This is because I am not consistently working online for 24/7. So I am comfortable with the prepaid data subscriptions according to me.

In a way you are right but with my present Network I can get data ad-on whenever I want and I have taken 3 GB daily plan which is quite so much as per my requirements but with postpaid there is no such issue but then it costs us more

Postpaid Internet is better but to enjoy it better 'here' you will need a backup power supply and plus its really expensive here. Prepaid is way easy for me since I don't have an online job.

Go to you internet provider and ask them do they have such service and how much it would cost you. Maybe you get some discout if you take two years contract.

Prepaid internet is volume based, and it is comparatively expensive. I have subscribed to a package where I get to use unlimited internet for a fixed price.

Here in Indonesia we are accustomed to using prepaid internet. Postpaid internet is mostly used by middle-upper economic class. For me right now, I go with prepaid internet for $7.8 and get 51gb internet access

I have always opted for post paid option. And I personally experience that it turns out to be more convenient and economical on long run. Prepaid at times can turn out to be more expensive and you suffer the limitations too. It feels restricted.

As someone who loves using streaming services and also uses streaming to make money, I don't think I can survive with prepaid internet. Not my thing.
