Yeah, in BMF, your thread or post needs to be high quality or it won't be credited. That is what makes that forum so strong.

Exactly, it takes a lot of time just to do 1 single review, and sometimes when you do 3-4 of them, It's been quite a while

There is no way to edit or delete reviews. I wanted to delete one but just could not.

There is no option for that but why do you like to delete or edit? In case it was submitted accidentally you can report that and admin will take care of the rest

I think this is a strategy, so that users think well before writing and post with the highest quality and rigor possible.
