Blocking A Member?

Postby Spontaneo » 31 Mar 2023, 03:43

Is it possible to block a member here on FC?

I have been wondering.

If so, would you kindly teach me how?

Thank you!

I never felt the need to block a member here, to say the truth nor on any other site. I wonder if you block someone that will mean that the person won't be able to answer in your posts?

A person you block can still comment on your posts but all of their posts will be invisible and they won't be able to PM you.

Ignore is not easy if its damaging your mental health. The add foe make them not exist in your world. There is a member here with an annoying way of posting so I blocked it so I wont see that annoying format anymore. The person is not doing any violation but the way this person write is irritating so I just blocked them for my mental health.

Whoa, so that's what "foe" stands for! I thought it would just start a feud. Too much videogaming I guess.

If I blocked a Foe, it would drive me nuts thinking about what they might be posting about me. I would rather know and ignore than be in the dark.

I have "No foes currently defined" and I see no reason to add any on a discussion board like this. I am also struggling to follow discussions without a notification bell so if anyone even said something I probably didn't notice it.

Oh-not actually and I don’t think it’s necessary, “ you blocked who you hate but I don’t have any reasonable to hate anyone as long as you are. Good person

Then she would never know what you are posting about her. I think it's better to just ignore what you would ordinarily block and stay in the game, whoever it is that bugs you.

I don't have no foe here on FC but then, it is good to know you can make foes here.

I wouldn't then find any reason whatsoever I should block my colleague here in this forum let alone knowing how to do that.

It's super simple as Netherrealmer explained in his post above this one, but in 8 years I have not had a need for it.
