When Barney got popular to toddlers, It annoyed and irritated the older siblings, younger aunts,Younger uncles and parents of the toddlers. Toddlers love Barney but Teens and some adults have so much hatred about this T-rex who spreads love,friendship and tolerance.

Adults feel like watching Barney is a torture to them that Barney is used to torture prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. When Youtube existed videos of destroying Barney toys got spread around the platform. Things Got worst when the People behind Barney got death threats. Barney's voice actor admits he gets a lot of death threats.

This documentary is about the people who crossed the line with their hatred of Barney.

I actually believe that the death threats more than anything else stemmed from the fact that people from the 90s who loved Barney first wanted to rebel against it as a way of trying to break free from the childhood memories they had once cherished.
