I can understand Game of Thrones, House of Dragons, and all of those medieval settings shows, because royal families back then are indeed incestious.. From cousin marriages to half sibling marriages, it has been common in many royal families back then. It's actually the reason why the Austrian royal family got extinct, because too much inbreeding made them infertile. But the ones that did modern settings, felt super wrong. Modern European royals stopped dating relatives and begins commoners because they developed hemophilia. I mean, every single prince and princess in Europe are cousins. So you cannot blame them for marrying foreigners these days.
