DC reveals Milly Alcock from House of Dragons got cast as the next Supergirl. Who is Supergirl, She is Superman's younger cousin.





Supergirl never had an accurate movie. She is an adult woman in that 80s movie. In the Tv Show she is an adult office woman. In The Flash movie, She is tomboy Latina. Despite being an Adult Milly Alcock looks like she is 15 so she is given the role because Supergirl is finally going to be a teenager in the movie because she is suppose to be younger than Superman.I dont know if she will encounter her cousin or if her story will be separate from Clark.

I'm not familiar with Supergirl, but did love the Superman movies when I was a kid, so would be interested in seeing the movie. Wouldn't it be great to be able to fly?

I am amazed by the fact that, in House of Dragons, the Supergirl character looks much like the real-life Milly Alcock. This close resemblance is evidently the outcome of adept use of the existing filmmaking technologies.

Indeed, the present-day film industry has made great strides.

The villain is going to be played by Jason Momoa he will play his dream role Lobo. Yes he ditched Aquaman for Lobo. The movie will be darker than Superman. James Gunn wants Superman to be a symbol of hope so he will have a happier movie. Supergirl will deal with PTSD since she watched her planet got destroyed.

I have never heard of supergirl. And it's interesting ti know that she is younger cousin of Superman. I am always excited to see women characters in super hero roles. It would be great if the two cousins could share the screen space.

One thing that makes her different from her cousin is that she is pessimistic. She witnessed her planet got destroyed and has extreme case of ptsd. She was originally older than Superman, She was sent with her cousin who is then a baby but the explosion separates their space ships. Her spaceship got sucked by a time portal, so by the time she arrived on earth, her baby cousin is now a 32 year old adult while she is a teen. She is annoyed of him because he treats her like a kid and over protective of her because she is his only family left before he married Lois and had kids.


This is her watching her planet destroyed.


The cousins became enemies many times but Clark always win....





The only time she win against him is when he got brainwashed.


She won fights against his sons though since his sons are half human.

I watched series with Melissa Benoit and she was irritation person. She was old enough and should understand she can't help everybody. It was annoying in series watching her dramatizing about everything bad in world.

Not all that crazy about Supergirl though but it would still be fun to watch if done well.

Unlike Superman, Supergirl kills people. She grew up with a different culture. On the upcoming movie, She will help a little girl to kill the murderer of her father. Its similar to True Grit but set in alien planet.


In the comics, she is now an Enemy to Clark's son Jon.

Same Universe but set in a different planet. I think the cousins had a deal. Earth is for Clark to protect so Supergirl find her own planet to protect. Also despite being cousins they have different principles. Superman dont kill. Supergirl is going to assassinate someone here.

One planet saved by a man and other by a woman... that's an interesting way to keep things simple, sorted and still related. Many fans of Superman would watch superwoman knowing that she is cousin of Superman. But actually they are ruling two different planets and so no conflict between the two. Smart way to keep the audience, keep things exclusive and still related.

Supergirl is not Superwoman, there is an actual superhero named Superwoman. Thats why Supergirl settled for girl since she is suppose to be a teenager. Also She kills people unlike her cousin.

DC has been pretty busy bringing out one project or the ither and casting out characters instead of focusing on one at a time to bring quality.

I think dc might do better than Marvel... James Gunn made some of Marvel's biggest hits which is guardians of the Galaxy. Also problematic actors like Ezra miller, Amber Heard and The rock are gone from DC.

I think Superman will be for family
Supergirl will be for adults as it will be a more violent movie

Krem of the Yellow Hills... Yes his fight with supergirl will be violent.

It wont be a Bossgirl Feminist movie as Supergirl will suffer a lot of beating before she beat the villains. She will be manhandled by those 2 men. She will have to be strategic to beat these guys.

Yea i am aware of James Gunn's track record in marvel but am still worried about how it will be in DC. yes he did suicide squad and peace maker but i really didn't like peace maker, it was an okay movie but that was just it, it wasn't epic. Peacemaker on the other hand i haven't watched it till date, and the recent talks about the superman movie gets me worried.

I think it will be better than DCEU,He avoids egotistic toxic actors

Quite excited for this one . We were long overdue for a Supergirl film and seems like James Gunn would be doing it justice . Superman trailer was amazing

I think adaptations are always difficult. It will be a unique on, hoping for a good movie.

They should just slow down on this many projects, and focus on making superman a success, after that people would have more expectations for the new projects.
