This is Halyna Hutchins, She was a wife, Mother and was a rising Cinematographer. She is mostly a woman behind camera. She makes shots for movies.

This movie is Rust its coming to theaters this May.

This movie stars, Alec Baldwin, There is a scene in the movie he have to shot the camera with a gun. Its suppose to be a prop gun with sparkling fake bullets, which is used in many action movies. One of the crew, puts real bullets in the gun. Alec Baldwin accidentally kill Halyna and injures the director. Baldwin was arrested but the charges of involuntary manslaughter got dropped because Halyna's husband ask for huge percentage of box office returns so he can raise his children from his late wife.

As soon as I saw the title I knew it was this. Such a tragedy it was. Some folks are arguing that they're surprised at the movie's release but you're saying her husband will gain significantly.

I like the Old West setting of the trailer. Balwin fits the role of perfect outlaw going the full hundred for his grandson. It's about to go down!

Yes! I heard it in the news yesterday. I'm not interested.
I feel like justice was not served, so I won't support the movie.

But what do I expect? Nobody cares about a national security breach and its impact on public safety, and the men and women serving this country. Would anybody care about the safety of the people working on a movie set?

I remember hearing about that when it happened. Such a tragedy!

It's not the first movie to have killed someone who worked on it of course. I'm reminded of The Crow, in which the star, Brandon Lee was accidentally shot during filming.

So who do you think should be blamed? Baldwin who have no idea the bullet is real or this woman:

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed

she is punished for 18 months of prison.

This is not the 1st time she puts real bullets in prop guns. She did it to a Nicholas Cage movie but no one died.

With the Nicolas Cage incident, it wasn't that it was real bullets, it was that she fired without warning and he didn't like the sudden, unexpected loud noise. Still not good, unprofessional.

They should have checked an double check just to ensure they where using the right bullets. Real bullets should not even be anywhere near the scene.

Baldwin. Like one of our presidents said: "The buck stops at his desk".
Baldwin was fully responsible for overseeing everything and ensuring the safety of his employees.
He was RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HIRING OF Hannah Gutierrez-Reed.

Why are real bullets even allowed during a shoot? What did Hannah Reed have to say on this? Is she mentally well? Did this have anything to do with personal grudge?

How much percentage of the box office revenue did the husband get? And how is he even sure the movie would do well commercially? Wouldn't he have gotten compensation if they had gone ahead with the case?

I guess I'm not the only one who is suspicious of the husband. I didn't say this, but I was thinking it.

You are not the only one. The husband is likely an opportunist that sees the incident as an easy pathway to become rich.

Why they even charged Alec Baldwin? He was just doing what script say, he is not weapon specialist, he didn't charge weapon. I think he should not even be on gulity for anything.

I recently saw a documentary titled Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna. It captures what happened that day that Halyna Hutchins died on set. So much about safety on movie sets.

We know the movie was going to be released one day even with the death of a crew member. But I think the entire thing was rushed and no proper legal process to handle the death of the crew members.
