I don't know why, but the US has never been on my radar. The older I get, the less interested in visiting the country I become. It's indisputable, it's a gorgeous country and so HUGE and diverse, but when I look at how black and brown people are often treated there, I just want to stay away. My husband has family over there, and I've told him to feel free to go on his own, but he also watches all the horrible YouTube videos I like to watch and sees what I see. Now with Trump back in charge, I have ZERO interest in going there. I guess I'll probably never visit the country.
