I'm wondering; Is it legally feasible for an American to make or buy a drone and run it without a licence?

If yes, in what State(s) is this possible?
If no, what laws regulate such activity?

I don't know how it works in America. But here in Uganda, you have to get a license to operate a drone for security purposes. Whether you are running a video coverage business etc, you are supported to be licensed and also must follow the rules otherwise your license may be invoked.
