Rosebud Sled from Orson Welles’ classic 1941 movie “Citizen Kane” has been sold at a Hollywood auction for $14.75 million.
Also on auction were a Bullwhip used by Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and the knit worn by the main child actor in Home Alone.

“Citizen Kane” tells the story of media mogul Charles Foster Kane, played by Welles himself, and a reporter’s quest to uncover the significance of his dying word, “Rosebud.”
Those having the money and interest would have been delighted to get hold of such landmark stuff !

I understand that the movie expands certain inner thoughts and descriptive details of the text. Meaning the book came first.
