I would like to add avatar. I have not done it so far. @Fergal, how to do so? I am struggling and clueless as I don't see any option to add my avatar.

I got the edit avatar link..tried many avatars but none accepted due to pixel size. Tried setting the pixel size too, but nothing worked. I will try again.

the pixel size must not reach more than 140x140 in size and like 5 to 10mb

Go to User Control Panel > Click on the "Profile" tab > Click "Edit avatar".
