Dates

Postby bestwriter » 30 Jan 2026, 05:24

Of the dry fruits for me dates top the list. With a sweet tooth they are the sweetest of all dry fruits

Dates are loaded with nutrition and have zero cholesterol. Dates are an ingredient for making sevral dishes. I use them to make my signature dish - date and walnut cake which is normally prepared during Chrfistmas.

This link tells you about the nutrition of dates

If you cover it in peanut butter, then dunk it in melted chocolate and put it on the fridge, it's gonna taste like a Snickers bar.

All fruit has zero cholesterol.

I don't like raw dates, but I do sometimes cook with them. I like them cooked in a tagine. Also they can be nice blended in a dessert, which adds sweetness without having to add processed sugar.
