He has undermined America's stature too much.
Even George W Bush sounds much saner than him now.
Today there was a news where UK PM Keith Starmer, in a way expressed contempt for American actions.

So the trust that US has with allies is also dwindling.

And plan for Regime change in Iran?
I think the way this war was fought has strengthened the regime. Public would support it even more.

These days, I'm never sure about the truthfulness of news reports. I've started dividing them between BELIEVABLE and UNBELIEVABLE.

I heard a report that Donald Trump threatened to pull the United States out of NATO.
Then I heard another report that said 3 of the NATO allies were encouraging Trump to GO AHEAD and DO IT!

That's BELIEVABLE.

If Trump was bluffing, he probably didn't expect them to call it.

At least closing NATO would make a strong case for Russia to stop Ukraine war.
Their main objection was against Ukraine joining NATO.

I live in fear of what the two madmen, Trump and Netanyahu are going to do next. After the collapse of the peace alks in Islamabad, Trump claims a few US allies and some NATO countries will be helping the US to 'free' the Strait of Hormuz. It feels like something nasty is brewing and will explode at any time. World War 3 definitely seems likely

They were against Ukraine joining NATO? Oh, is that the bogus excuse Putin circulated?

Eh! Putin has always been upset about the former USSR countries being allowed to join NATO. But that's not the real reason he started the war. Ukraine has resources that Putin wants to control. He annexed Crimea in 2014, and that was just the beginning. He was able to do that because, at the time, Ukraine had PRO-Russian leaders, like with Belarus. But the Ukrainians were so disgusted with their leadership that they voted for a comedian who had no political experience or connections to be their President. Since Putin didn't have Zelenskyy under his thumb, he started a war!

Zelenskyy tried to offer some of those resources to America IN EXCHANGE FOR guaranteed security measures. Trump said he was going to make a deal. But then Trump talked to Putin and kissed his butt again! So the war continues.

Trump's statements are not fully true. As of now, UK is not supporting the Strait of Hormuz blockade.
France and Germany are even less likely.
Japan has indicated that it can help in post war efforts.
I am not sure what exact plan the US has.
Would they still proceed with a ground invasion?
Even their "blockade" plan is very risky.
Iranian missiles and drones can target their Aircraft Carriers and Frigates/Destroyers and can cause a lot of damage.

Well, I know that even the NATO threat should not have been the cause of starting the war.
However, US and EU have been a reason enough to often instigate Ukraine against Russia.
And Russia is no pacifist nation.
But now, Russia should logically withdraw as they have already reduced Ukraine's power.

nah this isn’t world war level, it just feels like it because everything’s happening at once and you see it nonstop online… real world war means multiple major powers directly fighting each other, not separate regional conflicts and proxy stuff, still serious yeah, but not the same scale, more like a bunch of tense hotspots rather than one global war kicking off

Yet in a way affecting multiple parties and stakeholders.
So not a World War in real technical sense but not much farther away.

UUummm ... according to Trump, talks with Iran are going smoothly.

I put a question to our fearless leader and I'm waiting for a response (which I probably won't get).

When George Bush (the son) was in office he named three countries that he called the "Axis of Evil" (AOE). Iran, Iraq, and North Korea.

However, after the fall of Saddam Hussein, IRAQ is no longer a part of the AOE.

So if talks are going well with Iran, then I guess IRAN won't be part of the AOE either.

That means only NORTH KOREA is left.

But Trump said he gets along with the North Korean leader, so ...? North Korea is probably not a part of AOE.

QUESTION:
Will there be a "new Axis of Evil"? Which countries will be in it this time? NATO nations?

Nothing is getting clear at this moment.
Ship owners and even countries are confused whether the Strait of Hormuz is open or not.
A few ships were fired upon by IRGC.

So where was the US navy when this happened?
Still lots of doubts and lack of clarity.
