honestly might not be a “generation” thing at all, if she barely knows you then 20 years means nothing to her, it’s more your memory than hers… also some people just aren’t expressive or feel awkward in those situations, especially at big gatherings, I wouldn’t take it personal, give it a bit of time and normal convo, reactions usually warm up after thatbestwriter wrote:I was stunned when there was no reaction from this niece who came for that xmas party I organised when she showed no reaction which normally one sees when one meets after 20 years.
