Sweet Tea?

Postby Spontaneo » 06 May 2026, 21:30

I have a big question to ask you.

My roommate has a bunch of brown sugar left from preparing no-bake cookies. I was wondering if I could prepare some iced sweet tea with brown sugar instead of plain sugar.

Have you ever prepared sweet tea with brown sugar?

Lol i have never tried this before, the taste might be weird. Maybe you can try making a small quantity first.

A person on weight loss buddy said that both are 1:1 ratio. I was worried about the calories. ;) ;)

No, I've never done it that way but I bet it'd work just fine. Go ahead and give it a go and see what happens. You might even accidentally find a great iced tea recipe that departs from the norm LOL I mean, I use brown sugar in my regular tea, and it tastes lovely.
