Never. The closest I've come to that is fish fritters or fish cakes, and apple fritters. I wonder if it's the same recipe, but they just shape it differently.

Oh, game here is a slang we use which means we are ready or interested.
So if a person says "am game" they are simply saying count me in, am interested, or am ready
