So I came across this song by Michael Jackson. It was a rage back in early 90s.

Have you watched the Michael movie yet? On the Michael movie, it shows how hard he fought so Just Be It will be promoted on MTV because back then MTV only allows white artists and Michael Jackson tried his everything so his songs will be played on MTV. Because back then in the 80s, there's no YouTube yet, so your song has to be in MTV playlists to do well. And because of Michael Jackson, you know, during the music video era of MTV, he opened doors for a lot of black artists.

MJ is looking like a woman in this cover image. This guy was quite creative in reinventing himself.

Those of us who grew up in the US actually know the song by its correct name "Beat It". If you had just looked, you would have seen that right in the video you provided.

Songs in the US that "made it big" were frequently the subject of parodies. Songs written to the same tune but with funny lyrics. Weird Al Yankovic authored hundreds of them over the years. The parody version for this one is called "Eat It"

Quite interesting! I remember an Ad of "Cheetos" or some other snack in late 80s or early 90s use a similar song with lines going "Just eat it"....
