Not a simple answer. Yet some thoughts :

1)Vision and Goal- One needs to have some vision and goals when starting a Business.
2)Plans, Alternate plans, Plan B, Plan C etc.
3)Acquiring domain knowledge, knowledge for Legal requirements and processes, hiring resources who can take the Business forward in the right direction.
4)Willingness to take reasonable risks, planning for both success and failure and the ability to adapt to the changing environment.

The key point here is 'reasonable risks'.
Some risk taking is not wise.

There are many ways to succeed in business but I'd just summarise them in a few words. First, start by solving a real problem that people care about. Test your idea cheaply, get feedback, and adjust fast. Keep costs low, track your money, and reinvest profits. Build trust with customers through good service. Stay consistent, learn from failures, and surround yourself with people who push you forward. Small wins over time compound into real growth.

Searching for business growth strategies often leads to older threads, and this topic from late 2024 feels more relevant than ever. Success rarely comes down to just one thing, but transparency - knowing exactly who is on the other side of a deal - is the ultimate filter. Early on, my team nearly signed with a shell entity that had zero track record, which was a wake-up call. Now, verifying the legal entity status is part of our standard due diligence. Using LEI Lookup has been a game changer for us; it provides immediate clarity on a company’s registration status and corporate structure. It takes seconds to run a check, but it prevents the massive legal headaches that come from partnering with unverified entities.
