What's the name of this anime?

Postby gwolf666 » 19 Jan 2026, 22:48

I've been asking around and nobody knows the name. I'm not sure what year it is; it could be 2002, 2003, 2005, or 2006. I'm from Latin America, and it aired on Animax around that time. In fact, here are screenshots of the anime I'm looking for and the TV commercials so you know which one I mean. The anime I'm looking for appears between 31:05 and 31:09. It's a busty blonde girl in a fuchsia or purple dress. What's the name of that anime? I can't find it anywhere. I tried searching by uploading the screenshots to Google, but nothing. I just can't find anything. I don't know the character's name or what anime it's from. Can anyone here help me?

This sounds like a lost media hunt. I think in able for us to break down, I want to ask, did you watch this anime back in the day? Is that big boobs lady the main character or is it the guy that she kissed?

It seems so. I even asked on the "myanimelist" forum, and no one there could tell me what anime it is. The anime I'm looking for is the one with the big-breasted girl. I have no idea if she's the main character or not; I have no reference other than those scenes where you see the blonde girl with big breasts wearing a purple dress.

Regarding the anime in the scene where the girl is kissing a boy, it's from the anime "Wolf's Rain," which in Japanese is called "Kouya no Kizuato." The kissing scene happens in episode 4 of season 1. Here it is: "https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt0978512/?ref_=ttep_ep_4". So, it seems they are two completely different anime. One is already solved: the anime with the kiss. I thought they were the same, but I see they're not. Now I'm left with the one I care about most: the big-breasted girl in purple. No one has been able to tell me what anime it is yet. Okay, so if I still don't get any answers, I guess I'll have to ask on Reddit, right?

Good news! I found it! The anime is called "Getbackers" and the character's name is "Hevn".

Here's a video where she appears.1:01 - 1:07

And here's a screenshot confirming it's her.

At 0:05 the scene literally appears of her in the purple dress

Based on the description of a blonde female character wearing a fuchsia or purple dress, appearing in commercials or advertisements around 2005-2006, it's likely the anime is "First Angel" (known as "Bakuretsu Tenshi" in Japan).

The character she describes is Joe, and while he's often seen in his signature gray suit, there are many scenes and promotional materials where the characters appear in different outfits.

Without an image or description, identifying a specific anime is impossible. Anime titles vary widely, spanning genres like action, romance, or sci-fi, with popular series often inspiring fan discussions about plots, characters, and cultural influences in global fandoms.

It's not without an image or description though.

Being that the language used is Spanish, the name of this anime must also be Spanish.
