Zoom Video Communications has secured a massive $1 billion windfall from its early strategic investment in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic. According to a regulatory filing, Zoom’s total stake in the AI developer has surged to approximately $1.27 billion.

Zoom initially backed the Claude AI model creator in early 2023 to integrate advanced workplace AI assistants. This holding is set to expand even further as Anthropic finalizes a new multi-billion dollar funding round.
