Talk about a generous admin, I requested $10 for 1,000 Forum Coin and he sent me $5. Not to worry, as soon as I brought it to his attention, he sent me another $6 to make up for the shortfall. All that was after giving me 100 Forum Coin for starting a popular thread. The giving never ends here.

Received $9.31 via Paypal.

Thanks Fergal.

Though I thought it would be $10 for 1000 Forumcoin.

There was a thread about this last year. For users outside of Ireland, there is a fee for PayPal redemption. It was something that ForumCoin had to put in place in order to not have to pay for those fees out of the company pocket.

Hi, yes it is $10 for 1000 ForumCoin. We send $10 via PayPal, Paypal may charge fees to the recipient of the payment, however we send the full amount of $10. It's the same when you sell something via PayPal, e.g. if you sold a domain for $10 via PayPal, charges would also apply.

Yes, that's true, when I checked the email I got from Paypal it was $10. They deducted their charges before crediting my Paypal account.

Thanks.

Many congratulations to all who received prompt payment. I am a new member here and been here only for 3-4 days so still some time for me to reach the threshold yet, but nevertheless, it is heartening and motivating to read testimonials of others!
