I'm having a salad. My favourite food. Plus homemade bread made from stoneground wholewheat flour. Fruit and yoghurt for dessert.

As it's a "barbecuing holiday" around here, I'm making burgers and baked beans with salad for dinner tonight. Maybe I'll scrub some potatoes and put them on the grill too.

Ooh, a real barbie is great! :D I also do it here using an electric grill or the oven but the taste is different - never the same as charcoal grilling! I use a liquid "smoke flavor" but not enough to pack the punch :( The real deal is still the best!

Let me tell you about our dinner tonight that will be in about 6 hours from now. My wife just informed me that she is going to serve the same vegetables that she prepared in noon. Lots of leftover I guess :lolno:

All of those are attempts at duplicating the real smoke flavor of a hardwood fire, but fall short . I use a Traeger Hardwood Pellet Grill and anything that comes out of it is real smoked flavor.

As I went for a meal with my friend earlier I wont be eating much tonight. I had lasagne with garlic bread and salad so I will probably just have a sandwich later.

That's what I've got too! Did you get yours at Costco or somewhere else? I'm thinking about making either our Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey on it this year. I've made some really good pork roasts on it, slow smoked all day.

I had a big salad for dinner. I'm trying to be relatively easy on my stomach. x_x I've had an upset stomach quite often recently.

I love this questions as I am the dinner preparer at home. To me, I personally would like to skip dinner or just take a cup of oat for dieting.
However, still have prepare them the Chinese dishes for diner, 2 dishes and 1 soup as usual.

Actually I got mine from the original manufacturer in Mt. Angel, Oregon before they sold out and moved the factory to China.

Tonight I am going to make an effort and cook a cottage pie with veg. I have a new cooker so I'm going to experiment with it a little and see how it performs. :D

Tonight, we will have some leftovers of salmon in sour miso soup. I was supposed to cook something for dinner but I woke up with a stiff neck. So far, it disrupted my activities and I even have no energy to work on my freelance activities. grr!

Dinner tonight, we are having a good ole taco salad. Using restraunt style tortilla chips, refried beans, hamburger meat; seasoned, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa.. Super delicious.

You forgot the Jalapeno peppers.

I have a pork roast in a citrus marinade that I'm roasting for dinner... haven't decided on what to have with it yet. Roasted potatoes? Maybe a mixture of roasted potatoes and carrots?

I usually like to serve a green vegetable with dinner, no matter what else we're having on the side, but I'm not sure if I have any in the house today. I know I probably have a partial bag of chopped frozen spinach, but that's not very popular as a side dish at all... I usually just use it to add bits of it to soups and pasta sauce. Worst case scenario, I suppose I could serve canned green beans.

Hmm, it is probably a stupid question, but will your house get filled by smoke after? We live in an apartment and I hate (HAAATTTTEEE) the leftover smell from cooked food long after I am done cooking and washing the pots. So I am just worried it will be the same as this.

I am having leftover mince and pasta that no one ate yesterday. My son didn't have time to eat and my granddaughter went round to a friend for dinner. Sigh ... after all that effort too :(
