Pop How to succeed at survey sites

Postby suny » 21 Oct 2016, 04:50

Not qualifying for most surveys is one of the main problems members face at survey sites. But most of them are not aware just why they fail! Why do they fail or why the screen goes back to home page?

I have been working on different survey sites and almost always succeed and I must admit I am happy that they work perfectly for me. Well almost!
As someone mentioned the surveys at time are boring but when the earning is as good as $3-5 a day with less than 2 hours I don’t mind them.

So why you fail at them and I can understand your problem of boredom because when you don’t earn money your boredom definitely increases.
But where are you missing out? I am sure it is your profile that needs few minor changes. What actually survey sites are looking for-

Age group- Working that is in between 25-60

Working status- Full Time/Part Time/IT Professionals/Influence on shopping

Organization – Working with a large company (preferred)

Select your post as per your age group

You are working with advertisement, government, survey, marketing, Military, consumer electronics, banks, leasing, Auto manufacturer, and insurance company the chances of qualifying are almost nil

Please note house makers/work from home is almost last in their priority list.

Education- Graduates/Post Graduates/Professional Qualification

Monthly/Annual income is one of the major deciding factors which influence your purchasing power so select it carefully.

Children- Play a major role in qualification for surveys so you should select it carefully according to your age group

By the way most surveys are for adults but they give you a hint if they want to interview your 15 year old with your help so be careful while reading the invitation as they clear their intention about targeted group.

I can give you at least 5-8 survey sites with regular surveys which pay in the range of $050-$2.50 to International members. I know for sure these survey sites pay higher to Americans, European and other favored countries because I have filled surveys while living in other countries.
Ask any number of question please!

Yes I have a problem when it comes to my age (65) and the fact that I am bringing up a child who is my granddaughter. It doesn't look as if I am being honest if I say at my age I have a 9 year old! I think some of the survey sites are aware of this as quite often they will now ask if there is a child under 18 living in the household which makes it a lot easier for me to answer.

They generally ask you if you have a child under 18 years of age in your household but if you say your age is 65 the chances of getting a survey goes down. They target an age group of working people. Their main aim is to know about your investment capacity or your experience at workplace.

It's not too bad on ClixSense. I can get up to 3 surveys a day there although they aren't very high value. I normally don't even try them if they're over 10 mins because I've had too many that disqualify me at the last moment.

@sprite1950You have my mother's age and for some surveys site that is not a disadvantage, I am in Nicequest and so is my mother, but she gets much more surveys to answer than I :D I think it is because there aren't many people of her age working online.

@suny thanks for all these tips, I have already noticed some of them but one or two are new for me

All this loud noise!! Guys, give the OP a break. I may sound blunt and a little insultive but if you ask me, I think he has literally translated that particular line from his local language in which it means that the survey would work best for people with ....credentials.

I don't think you can ever cheat on ANY survey sites as somewhere you are bound to do a mistake and get caught.

@IcyFirefly I have been filling surveys for last four years and keep changing my profile every month or so according to my current DEMOGRAPHY which is must and for your info certain sites want you to update it every month or even after every survey.
@Naruto100 thanks for your knowledgeable comment
@nela13 you're welcome, I will give you more helpful info on this topic
@Decentlady thanks for your support. Survey sites never provide any work unless you have updated profile and profile is not a thing that you change your age, country, education, job etc based on particular survey. So thanks for your support.

My demographics don't match your ideal profile, but I still make a dollar or two a day to fund my other online activities without being dishonest. I answer the questions with the truth and the longer you do that, the more surveys you will qualify for. It's that simple for me.

Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

Absolutely, one doesn't stand a chance being dishonest in online world because it is not only the age, sex, education related. One has to answer what they ask and you cannot do that unless you have through knowledge of that particular topic. Most survey sites keep their emphasis on tricky tech related topics which one can not answer as a pretender, not for a long time at least. The golden rule is keep your profile up to date and keep a close eye on their questions.

I do get screened out on a lot of surveys because for a long while I would either just "Unemployed looking for work" or "self employed", picking those sometimes made surveys not work for me. At the same time though sometimes it doesn't matter about work related things. I have found updating the survey profile does give me more offers at least. Pinecone Research is the only one that doesn't screen me out, probably since their surveys are normally product based.

Thanks Suny for all the tips! I have not been active on survey sites as I always end up with the message that I am not eligible for the survey. Your post clarifies so many things. And I agree with you that it's not possible to lie about your credentials but one can update the profile to make it more appealing.

I agree with this too. As naturo said, it's good to be patient sometimes.

Thanks @suny for sharing these good tips. I also realized that I get more surveys ever since I have children, especially for different age group. Some targets infants and some target school-aged children, so now I have this advantage of having children at different age groups. ;)

You are right and that proves what I said that your profile plays a major role in completing surveys successfully. But the actual money comes from tech surveys. I just received a survey worth $2.8 that I could have done but I did not say I work in IT department despite of knowing everything what they wanted to ask. But my profile says I am in marketing and HR so that would not be fair on my part.Check it-
